I watched the first 3 episodes of Kanon. It makes me think the VN will be entertaining..

as i think i've already said, the 06 anime is miles better than the VN in everything but perhaps music (scenes go by too fast to really let you get into it), and especially art (the VN art is jank imo...like, you get used to it, but it's still pretty bleh)

also the same problem with every anime rendition in that only true end is really shown...though kanon 06 compromises pretty well imo

And the only way you could listen to this in the PS2 version/patched PC version was by getting a Bad End near the end of Heaven's Feel. EMIYA is a good song too, though admittedly overdone.

Its in the final round, its only the first mini-boss though whose irrelevant to the story so not like you're being revealed anything though.

Just popping in here to say that G-Senjou is really good, Cross Channel is amazing, and Yume Miru Kusuri has the most beautiful soundtrack of any VN I've played and is worth playing just for that if nothing else.

Kana is far and beyond my favorite though, and I recommend it to anyone that appreciates a good tear jerker VN.

WTF just after the Shiori arc finished, Ayu and Yuuichi kiss for some reason and they like each other now?!? where the hell is the build up for that??? I was still thinking of Shiori and the kiss on the cheek she gave Yuuichi

g-senjou hasn't got as many ridic plot twists as sharin no kuni

but it's still a cracking read

btw just be nice to everybody, you can just save before entering any heroine's path

Since the makers of Sharin no kuni made this and all the girls like you already, I figured it was going to be the same deal.

I don't like this as its like the heroine's unique parts are just H-scenes ._.

but i'm hoping the unique parts here are more than just that.. (i'll find out the hard way)

I gotta say, G-senjou did a much better job with routes than Sharin no kuni. Different routes ACTUALLY HAVE A DIFFERENT STORY is a major +

Sharin had lots of "omg plot twist" moments but there was no replay value.


But this is still just a novel, not a simulation game ahaha. The choices are obvious.
