it was called a random name generator for a reason. the names are... random! nintendo probably just inserted as many 4 letter names of people in there games. i wouldn't be surprised if "Mac" came up.
as for the nook argument, i believe animal crossing will probably have a character, but a random name generator has nothing to do with the chances. i also doubt it will be nook (back ground) but at this point in time, there is no proof. there may not even be an animal crossing character. so unless you are sakurai, please stop how you know unconfirmed characters are confirmed.

If you're going by the name generator than SNES, Shigeru Miyamoto, Little Mac, Geno, and GBA are confirmed for Brawl.
