Very Fun Smash Tournament! - Beacon, NY - Sometime in August?

would anyone be interested in coming to a tournament in Beacon NY sometime in August? the reason why i ask is that i really don't know if we have enough smashers in the hudson valley (or other close regions) to warrant a tournament so let me know, also, let me know what date would be best for you, if you'd be interested.

the rules would be pretty standard, with a singles and doubles tournaments (if there is enough people) and very standard rules, stages and counterpicks

i just have to make sure that there is in interest in this before i can try to work out something with this coffehouse, i'm sure its do-able, but i have to make sure there's an interest first!

I am in Poughkeepsie and I'd definitely be interested. Was actually browsing for CT / MA tourneys, and was pleasantly surprised to find this. =) I don't yet know all my August plans, but I think anything after the first weekend in August (8/2) would work for me.

alright! still trying to work things out, haven't had time to head down to the place yet.

FYI, the location may change but most likely it will be on mainstreet anyways, if this works out, i need to find a place perferably with tables and chairs and outlets so i don't have to bring a whole bunch, i might end up renting out a small hall, but no matter what it will be within two minutes of the location i first posted. glad to see there's an interest, i'll post more details as soon as i can!

i actually might be able to do this one with a few friends, it's not too far for me (i don't wanna go more than 45 minutes)

Im new to this forum...are there ever any smash 64 tournaments anymore? I live in westchester NY and am decent at best at melee and brawl, but am the best iv met in 64 smash.

Hey man, any update on this? Hope it didn't die on the table... ? =) Btw, with ESTICLE on 8/9 and NFB on 8/23, you might get a better turnout to schedule around them. (Personally, I'm busy on 8/30, and 8/9 is questionable, but I would do my best to be there for any August date.)
