UW Biweekly Smashfests[Next: Aug 20th]

I'm going to be actively updating upcoming smashfest dates so if there is any confusion you can always resort to this first post.


Location
5219 Brooklyn Ave NE, 98105 Seattle WA Apt #308

The cross street is 52nd St and if you're going north on Brooklyn you want to be looking for an apartment complex on your left that has some set of stairs. As for parking, you might have to go a block or two away to find a spot but it's never really a big problem. You know you're in the right area if you see a jack in the box, safeway, or wallgreens. Tons of places to eat in the udistrict too.


Time
Every other FRIDAY of each month
Sometimes ill skip a week or schedule smashfests according to tournament days. Gameclucks is held on saturdays so i usually try to have a smashfests the day before. If there are other tournaments in the area that pop up, or if people decide to go to BC, Canada or Oregon for a tournament ill try to schedule smashfests the day before those too.

Starts ~5:30 PM as this is when people usually start coming over. You're welcome to leave whenever you want because we usually play pretty late in the night till around 3 or 4 AM.


Other Misc
We have 4 TVs, but currently only 2 melee discs. So feel free to bring discs and/or cubes so that we can utilize everything we have.

If you're eating food in the apartment please make an effort to clean up after yourself by putting wrappers in the garbage and whatnot. Just respect the space that's all.

You're welcome to stay the night if you want. Whether it be we have a tourney the next day or if you don't feel like driving home at night. Keep in mind you can only stay one night and I sort of expect you to leave sometime the next day lol.

If we have enough people we can do things like draft crews, multicharacter stuff, or a 16man bracket.

Will probably be able to make it this friday (20th). Haven't played in forever- will bring at least one GC + melee disc. I am not sure if my memory card still has all of the stuff on it so that might be a problem. I will try to bring a few other with me. What bus will I need to catch from downtown seattle to get closest to your there?

the apt is brooklyn and a 3rd way up 52nd st.

brooklyn is the next street over from where you get off the bus.
