If there really is still a role that screams scummy to me its got to be RR, being able to cloak yourself just doesn't seem like a townie role.

Commuter isn't a common town role but it is an actual role used as a semi protective.

@ These above posts, he was playing for self-preservation. I wasn't looking for scumrake D5 I was looking for someone who's playstyle completely changed. Considering he claimed to me that at the end of D4 he was most concerned about the Ryu slot and then came into D5 swinging really hard on me while all the while in QT trying to claim he was trying to get Ryu to fall for something.

He basically didn't make any sense and seemed like he was just concerned with any lynch that wasn't his own and for me that's a huge tell of a non-town role.

Didn't Ryker say good luck finding the last one? Couldn't that foreshadow another mafia member? That line has been sticking with me and unless he flat out said afterwards that he was just trying to be town with his last posts then I'm assuming we could be dealing with a mafia member just looking to force mislynches.

you have plenty of reason not to go along with it and whether or not you thought he was town is irrelevant im wanting to know why you didn't find it suspicious that he was doing this at all. as scum its a free pass to hopefully get a bad reaction and cause a mislynch. if things went sour though you could just shift blame back to rake. fortunately it resulted in a scum lynch but if i were town i wouldnt be so quick to trust someone whos lying even if i thought he was town. did you not consider why rake just didnt gambit the execution himself instead of pawning it off onto someone else? he was looking for the same thing, a lynch off a bad reaction and if things went south he could shift the blame to you. this why its important you explain why you went along with it in more detail

@jdietz, im not a marker and you dont seem to be familiar with how they work. they generally can win even if they are dead, i know swiss could in my Britches & Hose game even though he didnt actually die. this is a problem for anyone who thinks rr is scum because it effectively puts town in a kingmaker where they have to decide between me or rr winning. kingmakers are ridiculous and super lame and mods go out of their way to make sure set-ups dont devolve to that. if you dont think rr is scum then it works out better for you but either way im not a marker and i can prove it but it comes down to whether or not you trust me and theres nothing i can do about that except giving my word.

There was still a chance that the reclaim was real. Either way, there was information to be gained from cooperating with Rake, I.e. Kevin's swap to RR or Ryker's reaction. There was literally no reason not to go along with it.
