You're right, but why does everyone say save Usmash? yes, it's our kill move, but as long as we don't spam it, it's easily unstaled w/lazorz.This better suited for the Q&A thread, it prevents clutter from forming on the boards.

To answer your question quickly though because I'm nice like that. Usmash = Kill move, don't use it unless you intend to kill them, unless it's part of the DAC also known as the Gatling Combo.
Utilt: Can save you when you mess up spacing with Ftilt, and can put opponents in the air and set them up for juggles. Use Utilt at lower %, Usmash should be saved for kill %.
And don't forget nex time you have a quick question, go to the Q&A thread. Kthx
I dunno, I use upsmash a lot. Reliable strong attacks are worth using often when you have such a good projectile. You're right, but why does everyone say save Usmash? yes, it's our kill move, but as long as we don't spam it, it's easily unstaled w/lazorz.
Boost Smash out of Dthrow at certain percents works pretty well.
i never really tried with utilt because i thought usmash was better anyway, but when i got to using utilt i liked it alot for the dubble attack and unstaling upsmash too. moral is if you dont already got the tapjump disabled disable it now (seriously who uses it anyway)I guess once you know what you're doing it's ok to use it more often, but for people new to Falco, we don't wanna encourage spamming causing the move to go ultra stale. Better for newbies to conserve and be able to kill than spam and let their opponent live forever. Over time experience tells them what they can and can't get away with.
Characters like Marth, Fox and Meta Knight need Tap Jump for their out of shield options. Keep it in mind if you ever pick them up eh?i never really tried with utilt because i thought usmash was better anyway, but when i got to using utilt i liked it alot for the dubble attack and unstaling upsmash too. moral is if you dont already got the tapjump disabled disable it now (seriously who uses it anyway)
is jump out of shield so viable? id say that grab/roll/sidestep would be cool enough and jump unneccesary. prove me wrong pleaseCharacters like Marth, Fox and Meta Knight need Tap Jump for their out of shield options. Keep it in mind if you ever pick them up eh?But you won't because Falco is teh sex
Marth's reverse Dolphin Slash OoS is a great option. Fox's Usmash OoS, enough said. Meta Knight's Shuttle Loop OoS.The only OoS attacks I ever do with Falco are upsmashes and occasionally a full jump rising dair or bair, and only in the former would tap jump make any kind of difference.
so i understand that tapjumping out of shield is less lag then releasing shield thus making it a better option? as releasing shield is the normal alternativeMarth's reverse Dolphin Slash OoS is a great option. Fox's Usmash OoS, enough said. Meta Knight's Shuttle Loop OoS.
Those are huge assets to each character.
I never touched the controls in the first place lol, Melee taught me how to not jump with up =\.JC Usmash OoS is so useful
turn tap-jump on you scrubs
same, but it can still go by accident, better safe then sorryI never touched the controls in the first place lol, Melee taught me how to not jump with up =\.
