If you wanna speak on a more canon sense, the only male figures that Fluttershy ever even interacts with at anytime during the whole series are Angel (a rabbit), Spike (a baby dragon), and a pair of Royal Guards who scare the living **** out of her, and the only reason she can handle Angel/Spike is because she has a talent of dealing with other creatures (like the Manticore, the Cockitrice, the Red Dragon, etc).

She also gives a few of the female characters some very seductive looks often times, especially when one on one.

WTF... No one mentioned avatar, or the name of a character implying that you are like that character, at all. It's just that the name "Fluttershy", itself, with no bearing on the character, sounds pretty fruity, which is probably what C!Z was referring to in the first place.

Im pretty sure I didnt have a sexual preference when I was a baby... Pretty sure I didnt even know what sex was until at least 6 or 7, nor the difference between boys and girls until I was at least 3 or 4.
