So...I just posted in the ToF thread about this, but reading this...would this smashfest be at where I thought you originally lived (Draper), or in a dorm room...at BYU or something?

I'd love to come to the smashfest and practice, have an all-nighter...or semi-nighter if we want sleep, but I'm not up to driving to BYU to do it. Nothing against it, but I get lost really easily, and it'd just be more driving for me, and I get enough of that during the week, and I need all the spare money I can save.

So...where exactly would this take place, cause if at all possible, I'd like to keep the distance from my house to a minimum.

Ok, so......I'm really sick of having to explain this every time to you guys. I mean, I've said this a million times already, so I guess I should be more precise when I say...

I. GET. LOST. REALLY. F***IN. EASILY!!

Alright! I have no sense of direction, and I have extreme paranoia about driving in this state. I got my license here, but I became accumstomed to driving in Idaho, where the back roads here have more cars than the freeway there! I didn't have to worry about idiots who drive because there was no one there to drive. And most of the time when I went anywhere, I had somebody to follow or somebody in the car with me to tell me where to go so I wouldn't get lost.

Now that I'm here, I have more cars to tredge through, more roads to remember, more idiots who can't tell what f***in lane they're in! And it ALWAYS takes me AT LEAST 5-10 tries to go from one place to the next before I figure out the road work and how to successfully manuever past this s*** without my extreme paranoia kicking, causing me to scream at anything that moves whenever I get frustrated!

Ok, so I don't care how easy YOU think it is, two roads can still be hard on myself. I don't go out much, I don't know the road layout. And sometimes, I can't even tell where I'm going. Check that...ALL THE TIME!

So I would appreciate it if, instead of saying how easy it is for you guys, to tell me you can give me a ride a few times, or ride with me, so I can at least know what the hell is going on, until I can figure out what the hell is ACTUALLY going on, and be able to do this on my own. I mean, this is a big reason why I ask for rides, and why I HATE driving anywhere.

So I hope you guys know why I say I get lost easily, cause I f***in do...like no other, and it frustrates me how you guys think it's easy for me, when you don't know how I drive, or how I get from one place to the next.

So rant over. Rant wasn't angry, it's just my way of jokingly make fun of my direction skills while being truthful the whole way through. Yeah, everything about that is true, and I REALLY stress that so I don't get this crap anymore.

Um, other than that, I also said I want to keep driving to a minimal. With school taking up so much of my time lately, and with this time of the year being the slowest for work, I'm lucky enough to get to work 2 days out of the week. And with them scheduling me for only 4 hour shifts, I'm lucky to get 2 hours out of it. You can tell I work very little, and driving to the U is costly. I go through at least a tank of gas a week. You see why this is another good reason for me to hitch a ride? I'm losing money faster than I'm gaining it, and I need as much as I can for books and in case my car breaks down. So I REALLY don't want to drive too much. I mean, I don't want it to get serious enough that I won't even be able to pay for these tournies anymore. You know how bad that would be? I need to save as much as I can.

Ok, I really needed to get that out of my system. Feel better now.

So DZLE, I know we need to practice for teams. You going to BYU to smash overnight at Kenny's, or will it be at your place? In which case, I can probably drive to your place (if it isn't too far), or I can probably hitch a ride to Kenny's with you. Although, if we do the latter, I don't know when I'll be home Friday. I could be home the earliest at 3:30, or end up being home after 6 even. So, I would like to know what you're doing so I can schedule myself justly.

Well, if you still have a hard time navigating through a grid-system here in Utah, then I would advise you to never live in New York City or Los Angeles, where the roads are packed with cars (with crazy drivers in them) and that curve everywhere! XD

I've been in Los Angeles before...on the freeway, even...

I know Utah has bad drivers, but d***! I would never, by my free will or someone else's, live there, unless I could somehow avoid the freeway, or roads for that matter.

Utah is slated as being the #1 state with the worst drivers. But that's mainly in SLC, Provo's pretty decent in comparison to most other places. But still, utah's drivers are the rudest, most inconsiderate, ********, don't know how to turn on their turn indicators, and run every **** light, drivers I have EVER seen, and I was raised in Cali, Idaho, Toronto/new york, and Colorado. Not to mention my Louisiana mission where I drove most of the time.

Also, I understand where you're coming from Lanky, my directional skills are just as bad, if not worse. I get lost EVERYWHERE! Even if you tell me to go in a straight line I'll end up traveling in a rhombus.

By easy, I meant easy in relation to any other directions you could ever get. You go straight on a road for a long time till you see a HUGE football stadium. Turn right, and then turn left at the next light, which isn't more than like 500 ft away, LOL. But I can understand where you're coming from, so my suggestion is just to hitch a ride up here with DZLE or someone, like you were saying.

If you are having money problems sell your plasma. You can make 60$ a week from doing this. It's good **** hehe. I would be doing it but I donated blood for a free tshirt and now I can donate plasma for 8 weeks. I got a tshirt instead $480

Ugh, not a fan of needles or having my blood taken from me.

But I'm trying to get more hours for work. I'm gonna try to set it up so on my only actual free day of the week (Thursday), I work a 6 hour morning shift. If I get this, then I can work up to 10 hours a week, and still have time to catch the mini-tourney at PnT.

However, I really need the hours, so it may end up being a double shift, where I work 3-4 hours, get a 3 hour break, then work another 3-4 hours. More hours, but I miss the mini-tourney.

So whichever way, at least I'll be getting more money!
