We often (5 of the last 20 or so tourneys I've been to anyway) have female players at our tourneys here, so I don't think it's a problem. I personally make it a point to be the kind of person that doesn't have to change how they act when they're around any given group of people, and the more the merrier, so I vote yes.

We were talking about Smash. I think I might have underestimated the number of tourneys I've been to. It might be more like 5/30.

I remember my first time at an official Brawl tourney. I did teams with my friend. Won the first set easily having plenty of stocks to spare.

Then I get to go against PC and Crea and get grabbed release in teams...

I remember when I first FIRST came into the scene back when melee tournies were weekly at pnt.
I play falco, crouch cancelled (it was the only "AT" I knew) and Forward smashed a TON. Never lasered.
There was always this asian kid, with a stool, who ***** as jigglypuff. I was scared of this kid i later learned was PC/

You aren't going to get any people to show for a only-melee tourney, just FYI. Brawl is what brings in the people, then some of them enter melee on the side. Most of those people would not show for a melee only tourney.
