Using aerials when holding a turnip?

After using peaches second jump, I found out that when you press Y again, she'll do an aerial of your choice. This only works if you were holding the A button while holding the turnip. I don't know if this is new or not, but I thought I'd like to share.

Also for some reason it doesn't seem to work sometimes. I don't know why.

you can also do arials in float while holding a turnip.
and that's day 1 stuff......

The peach sticky doesn't list this in the technique section sooo.. yea.

How do you do aerials in float? Only dair seems to work. Btw why does it sometimes i seems to "lock up" and I can't do any aerials?

When you're in float just hold jump and attack with the C stick.
