Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of the User Blogs, Jam Stunna’s reign of terror has ended. Fear not my children, for a new dictatorial regime has risen to crush all who oppose it. The Era of Crimson King and Teran has begun.
I’d like to start by talking a bit about how this place will be run. People have been prone to complaining about the spam/lack of intelligence etc. in this place. Well, here’s something to keep in mind. Blogs are a personal thing, they are your blogs. In light of this, there will be an extremely hands off approach to moderating the content of a blog post unless it breaches Global Rules.
If you want the “intelligent” blogs to thrive, then it is the community’s responsibility to keep them alive instead of the more light hearted ones. Posting “Cool story bro”, and “This blog is bad and you should feel bad” on every random blog keeps them bumped and active, and causes the “intelligent” ones to die. Catch my drift? The point is, you as a community control the direction of this section more than we do, and so you shouldn’t complain if it’s going in a direction you disapprove of. Still, there’s nothing stopping me clamping down on any trolling/flaming/spamming in the responses, and I will not hesitate to do so if I deem it necessary.

If there’s anything you need help with/need to talk about concerning something in the User Blogs section, you contact Crimson King and myself on SWF. I’m pretty active so I should be able to get to you soon. Remember, we’re here to make this section a better place for everyone, and it’d make life easier if issues/concerns/suggestions were actually highlighted.
Blog of the Week will return, with Crimson King and I being the judges.

From now on, all blogs posted on the subject of issues with SWF Policy will be locked. Please use either the SWF Questions and Suggestions Thread or post your issue in Forum Support, where only Admins will see your threads, and where all your issues will be dealt with appropriately.
ROOM BANS
Starting now, we will review infractions should anyone break the rules of this room. If you have earned a large amount of infraction points from the UB (3 to 6 is more than enough), you will be banned from the User Blogs for a week. If that doesn't do it, then you will earn a 2-week ban, after that, a 4-week ban, and after that, a permanent ban.

- No more completely pointless one liner posts e.g. “Cool story bro”
- No negative comments about the quality of the blog post you have read. Disagreeing with a point of view highlighted in the blog in a civil manner is fine, but comments like “this blog is stupid” are unnecessary. If there is a post that you believe is problematic, there is a Godsend called the Report button.
- If your signature is larger than your post, please turn it off. This applies to both height and width.
- Global rules still apply, so even if moderation of blog content is relaxed, advertising, pornography, or mention of illegal substances absolutely will not be tolerated.
