Pretty sure you're thinking of TSM, a Sheik player from Albuquerque. There is a Tetsuya in EP, but he wasn't there.

I think I have everything. I was stumped because I couldn't figure out who Arturo played first round, but he says he doesn't think he played anyone before Bees!. If that's the case, the players who didn't receive byes are TSM and JT, TSM beat JT and then either Austin or Iria (whichever one didn't play Timotee), then lost to Bees and played Goyf in semis.
