Puzzles...
Here's one for Layton if you like. I'll put it under a spoiler so it doesn't take up too much space for those that aren't interested.Ok guys, let’s say you could add an entirely new series to Smash along with a represented character. The following are what you can add:
Be as descriptive as you want. I’ll put mine up later this evening.
- A character
- A stage
- Twelve musical tracks
- 8-12 Spirits
- A trailer for the character
1. Professor Layton
2. St. Mystere
Would probably either work like a travelling stage like Delfino Plaza and Skyloft. Or the stage can take place on top of three houses where Don Paolo can fly across with his flying contraption every once in a while and destroy one of the houses with his ball and chain weapon. Which later get restored via a puzzle animation.
3. Top twelve songs (Some might need to be remixed or using their live orchestra versions)
Professor Layton main theme.
Theme of St. Mystere
Puzzle medley from the whole series.
Elysian Box Main theme
Buzzle Battle (Lost Future/Unwound Future)
Huge Weapon
Last Battle (Last Specter/ Specter's Call)
rumble (Last Specter/ Specters Call)
Pursuit (Miracle Mask)
Airship Chase (Azran Legacy
Don Paolo's Theme
Descole's Theme
4. Spirits (Excluding Layton himself.)
Luke Triton
Flora Reinhold
Don Paolo
Emmy Altava
Jean Descole
Inspector Grosky
Katrielle Layton
Sherl
Alfendi Layton
Stachenscarfen
Granny Riddleton
Aurora
5. One idea is having a coin flipping up and down as it pans closer to where you eventually see the Smash logo as well as the Layton series logo. The coin then gets grabbed a hold by a hand that then proceeds to adjust a top hat as the figure turns around and proclaims "Every puzzle has an answer!"
If Layton where to get a proper animated trailer though rather than something quick and simple. Luke could barge into Layton's office to let him know that they just received a peculiar letter. As Layton looks at the seal, he then proceeds to leave his office in a haste as he tells Luke that this case might be a bit too dangerous for him. Leaving him behind in confusion as he looks back at the open letter Layton left behind. Panning closer as it gives a clearer look at the smash logo. The next scene will be Layton driving down into St. Mystere (or whatever his stage will be) as he sees a fight breaking down between some of the characters/ He steps out and then proclaims his famous line "Ever puzzle has an answer!" as his splash screen shows up "Layton takes the case!". a Battle montage then plays out showing off his moveset.
At the end of the trailer, he can then be seen enjoying a nice cup of tea along with the characters he fought with.
