At least Apocalypse assured me that it'll probably have a decent gameplay. Story... will likely be bad, but I'm not in the SMT fandom, so it's not like I'd have anyone to talk about it if it was good anyway.



What about Baboom leak?

Nah, I get it, but I enjoy the calm periods before this site gets unreasonably angry over the last characters and then slowly dies out until the next game.

The clam periods are quite nice but I also enjoy chaos at times and I never really got to experience that, I would like a balance between the two if anything. I think Chaos could and usually is fun to see unfold and Calm Periods are nice and as it says in the name, Calm but I prefer those times in small doses.

I wonder what people will react like to the final DLC Characters though depending on if it's a popular and highly requested character most people would probably accept it but if it's someone that's controversial and not all that popular the site would catch fire.

Holy **** chansey almost swept my team in renegade platinum.

I didn’t know you fight Cheryl in eterna.

I led ivysaur against it and it had ice beam.

2 hit koing anything I had weak to. I switched to gyarados and it used thunderbolt...

I almost lost gyara there. Espeon was the only thing I had to fight it. It took the special hits and used bite to flinch spam. The ****ing chansey had hyper voice and soft boiled.

It was such a tank and I was scared lol.

Considering how Crafted World got 1.1 million units in TWO DAYS, I have a feeling that pretending it doesn't exist is bubble-talk

It's just not a game hardcore Nintendo fans talk about, unfortunately.

Nintendo fans online like to cherry pick. If it isn't 3D Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, or some niche/dormant nostalgia IP, most don't seem to care.

Joker was cool and all but let's not have to wait 4 months to know a single ****ing attackcharacters can do next time. Just show their trailer and have us wait 2 months. The wait from Joker to E3 isn't nearly as bad as the wait for Joker because while we know we're getting Erdrick, personally speaking, I don't mind waiting on them as we're not supposed to know about them yet

This is how I am honestly, being a Nintendo RPG and especially Mother fan, not very many games on the Switch right now interest me personally.

But the LoZ:LA remake looks fun. I'm looking forward to that.

Quote me on this: It will end badly.

People cling to their most wanted more as time goes on, and by the reveal of last character, you'll have multiple large fanbases who won't be happy with anything except what they specifically want.

In December? I fully agree, I was fine waiting on that because Sakurai said "We revealed him early." Teasing him in February, two months before release without telling us anything? THAT'S my problem

-the end of the Isabelle trailer tricked some people thinking that Tom Nook was going to be playable as well (maybe as an echo) and it wasn't.
-some other people made up nonsense theories that the Direct was delayed for the heartquake so it would have been Isaac, they expected Isaac and it was Isabelle instead.

Me! Link's Awakening is one of my favorite Zelda games, and the remake looks great. I know people complain about the art style but I personally find it cute and colorful.

All they needed to do was show Joker's trailer, nobody would have minded waiting 2 more months if we knew what was happening. Imagine back in 4, they teased Cloud like they did Joker and then NOTHING. It's also good for drumming up hype, had Joker been shown off in February, they'd be going "Yo you see that new Joker trailer? He looks so cool!" two months before he released, building up anticipation, keeping fans excited and having people talk about the game

I get why they decided to show off Joker at the Game Awards, but honestly, I think it would've been better if they just teased Joker initially in February.

I'm still baffled that was even a thing. Even ignoring the issue of using the earthquake in a way like that, the direct clearly was built around having Isabelle in it due to the Animal Crossing Switch teaser and looking into the data on the Smash site shows that she was always meant to be next in line. There was nothing to support that she replaced Isaac in the September direct, and the fact that it was continuously brought up despite that really shown the leaps some will go to support a rumor they want to be true.

I didn't buy Switch yet because there were too few games I was interested in (Kirby Star Allies and Smash only); Link's Awakening and Mario Maker 2 convinced me to buy a Switch, and now I'm just waiting the best moment to do so (saving up some money and waiting to see if that "mini" version exists).

Link's awakening is my second favorite Zelda game after Majora's Mask, by the way.

I have one full on physical attacker, onix. Which ice beam hurt a lot. Then I have magby and sort of ivysaur who cover both. Plus gyardos.
Her moves just really checked my team.

I would have had machop but my magby killed it by accident

People seriously need to stop looking at Smash like it's on some pedestal above all others that Nintendo can't **** up. We all love it sure, but at the end of the day, it's a game, and Nintendo can and will **** up somewhere if they can.


In a way, I'm glad the box made people realize that not even Smash is exempt from Nintendo's head ass decisions.

Oh absolutely Smash isn't some holier than thou masterpiece that is immune to Nintendo's screw ups so when I look back on it I more so went against it cause I didn't like it not cause it didn't make sense.

We've already seen that earlier than then with Nintendo leaking Castlevania music the night before the August Direct and even further back (IIRC) with them accidentally leaking Ganondorf's return in a Smash 3DS commercial.

That said I really hope they learn their lesson and don't do something like that again it isn't really all that fun and it's a dumb screw up on Nintendo's end that could've easily been avoided.

Really? When was that rumored/confirmed? I never heard anything of the sort I just thought it was an accidental screw up on Nintendo's end. Regardless though they still messed up with showing Ganondorf in the 3DS Commercial which already proved that Smash isn't immune to screw ups.

I dont think its a **** up but more of a faulty interpretation of Sakurai words with the message to not expect many newcomers and stretching it, especially after the reveal of K. Rool and Ridley making fans believe that they were gonna get everything they wanted.

They could've done a few different things in the marketing like change the order of the reveals but at the end of the day I kid you not that the everyone is here sold me into the game.

One day before that direct some dude on 4chan said it was gonna be Bloody Tears/Monster Mash and to prove he's legit he'd edit the Galaga Medley. That's the only deliberate **** up though iirc
