Now that i’ve beaten Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2, my backlog is down to Tales of Vesperia, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Resident Evil 7.

In addition, I have a desire to play A Link to the Past and Chrono Trigger (i’ve never played either of them), or Pokémon Platinum, which i’ve also never played. I know certain games are definitely an investment, but I don’t know which ones I should try to play first.

Any suggestions?
ALttP sounds good.

I have grown fond over Remix 10 because of the memes. Also I have the whole thing memorized so it'll follow be wherever I go.

I'm not a huge fan of Remix 4 (from Fever). My favorite tracks out of all of the games are Remixes 8, 9, and 10 from Fever.

I don't have a personal favorite out of those, though. I'm stuck at a 3-way tie. Now that we are on the topic, I need you to break it for me.

Which is better: Remix 8 or 9? They are both top notch remixes with top notch tracks, with top notch vocals (for a video game. Give em credit)
(This is the stuff I was talking about. I put something out onto the thread and it just gets completely breezed by... could somebody just acknowledge it and give an answer?)

Devil May Cry 3.

Legendary game you can beat in one weekend.

for all you fighting game people here, wtf is EN-Eins: Perfektewelt?
The sequel to a game called Akatsuki Blitzkampf. If you've ever played UNIEL or UNIST, it's the game Akatsuki comes from.

Dunno about RE7 nor AC:O, so cant comment on those. Vesperia should take you around 60 hours, MHGU is nice to play it in bursts as the game is pretty much a time sink and can give you more than 100 hours of game time easily, ALttP took me about 15-20 hours to beat completely and Chrono Trigger took me around 15-18 hours to beat.

Since you played RE, why dont you try AC:O or Tales since those are quite different from RE? If you want to try MH you can play it in small bursts in between them.

Not sure if I can really help, but at the least I think 9 is more fitting for Smash, I could see characters duking it out to that beat.

No...it has to do with the fact that even Nintendo and Sakurai barely to never acknowledge that game regardless of its status in the Pit life (it’s the child Sakurai didn’t want to adopt, and won’t ever wanna love)
I mean it doesn’t help that the game took 20 years to come out in Japan.

I was actually considering getting the DMC HD Collection on PS4, but I'm wary of getting it used and that's all I can find. It pains me so.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about Monster Hunter as an "in-between game" for when I start my next big game or series. I've played a ton of Resident Evil, so I know for sure I want to take at least a wee bit of a break.

Maybe if I can get my hands on the DMC HD Collection, I'll play that and Monster Hunter at the same time.

Chrono Trigger.

It's known as Japan's best game of the Heisei Era for a reason, which has essentially been since the birth of gaming til now, so the greatest game of all time, to them.

Better than Ocarina, FFVII, Witcher 3 - it's THAT good.

Monster Hunter, any of them, are BIG investment games. It's definitely not what I would consider an in-between game.

Since it's a rather Capcom centric heavy list, try out Okami and Ace Attorney. Both available for a small price on the eShop/PS4 Store, and in AA's case on mobile as well.

See, I absolutely would. But I frankly don't have a single console that I can play it on.

I could try playing it on my Macbook, but I'm not all that familiar with how I would go about doing that. I'm an old man when it comes to computer gaming.
Monster Hunter, any of them, are BIG investment games. It's definitely not what I would consider an in-between game.
By "in-between", I simply meant that I would basically chip away at it while playing another game, and focusing more in between.

I know how much of a time sink they can be. Having played MHW, I could tell there was a very large list of things to do, but I'm aware that the older games seemed to really expand upon that.

I own Okami on the Wii (but never actually finished the whole thing) and I'm definitely interested in Ace Attorney. It pains me that it's a Digital release, but what are you gonna do I guess. That's definitely coming up on my list of games to play.

However, I will say I just ordered the DMC HD Collection for PS4 from Walmart. So that will be joining my library on Friday.

So, Scott Cawthon gave some YouTubers early access of FNAF VR, and they’re only allowed to show so much each day, but apparently Mat streamed and showed a little more than he should have. o-o
