I really fail to see how this disconfirms anything.
Not even on the Fighter's Pass 2 Freight, but he's not just gonna say 'btw there are 9 more characters coming'. That's like saying 'He said that all the dlc would be released today so there's no more dlc after Ryu' for Smash 4.

I never thought there'd be a Fighters Pass 2. It's unlike Nintendo, and while they're finally treating Smash as a fighting game in many respects, they are still not going to support it like one long term. They're much more interested in publishing other games, and marketing Smash as a fun party game just as much as a fighting game.

The casual market is far less likely to invest in DLC characters and still be playing this game regularly by Feb. 2020. I don't think it's worth keeping all that staff around if there's a much bigger payoff for contracting those same staff for an entirely different game they can sell for a full $60 to a new market.

I get it now the reason that Sakurai never used Geno is cause he doesn't have a figure to work off of I can't believe it we've discovered the truth, That's why Erdrick is in instead.

But yes I imagine that would be something Sakurai worked with since Erdrick is all but confirmed at this point.

Really loving all the shade and insults I've been receiving just for having a problem with the very definition of "just anyone" (a sidekick introduced in a remake that won't even be released until after DLC is done) in regards to a guest fighter being included.

I guess I deserve to be ridiculed just because I feel an exception to the "just anyone" statement in regards to guest fighters shouldn't be made for such a literal nobody character and that they don't deserve any special treatment just for merely existing.

I should just go jump off a building because I'm nothing but a worthless troglodyte who's only "salty" over "my most wanted" not getting in (even though my most wanted after Waluigi DID get in), and at least three of you would outright celebrate me doing so.

Dude. Or girl. I don't actually know. This joke is getting old. There are characters I absolutely adore. And who I think would be cool in Smash. But they're not from a game so I don't pitch them. How annoying would it be if I was continuously spamming requests for Ben 10. They few Multi-Media characters I do suggest have a specific history with Nintendo or Smash in general. Popeye was the inspiration for the entire Mario series. DuckTales and Goldeneye 007 were two of the best games on the NES and N64 respectivly. Goku is... well Goku. Zoe Trent doesn't have that, and I can't think of a single good reason to justify her inclusion.

Royal would probably be ported for next gen consoles, so I recommend waiting. Atlus would be dumb to not port the definitive version outside of the PS4.

Especially since the PS5 is allegedly releasing November 2020.

I doubt it Sakurai wouldn't down right say "Oh hey everyone we're working on more than 4 DLC characters after Joker look forward to it!' and even if he doesn't have any plans for DLC past Season 1 there's still a year of work ahead of him so he could change his mind by then.

It doesn't downright kill a Season 2 cause Sakurai wouldn't come out and admit that there's more characters past the First Season and even if he doesn't have plans for one things can change.

Ah, I remember those days of me being s lowly Action Figure. I have since grown into a guy. And now I am a god. You can not add NonSpecificActionFigure to Smash. He no longer exists in that lowly form.
