i was hoping full items and spirits would offset the three stocks, but it seems to have had the opposite effect

nah its all good lol, I thought It wasnt done already but yours is pretty nice. Wish it was a bit easier tho, I kept making spaces to big and getting on confused

My issue with the grid is that it's a bit too transparent or that it blends in with the background too much, especially with busy looking backgrounds. I don't know if that's just a me thing though... It's still an improvement over Smash Wii U's grid lines though.

I might improvise a bit more with my sprite work though and go with something that is a bit more NES like in order to not have to use too much black outlines that eat up the limit too much for the stages and go more minimalistic. I think that might be the best option for stages like that.

I might try and do my Super Mario Maker based Layton sprites in stage builder in that case...

Viridi: High school students by day, Vigilantes by night! They're a group sworn to punish those scum that you humans won't even bother to punish.

Palutena: Anyways, Joker is a speedy trickster that has a variety of tools he uses. Guns, a grappling hook, and his trusty dagger. He can use dark magic that doesn't do much damage but it damages you gradually if it hits.

Pit: He seems like he's like on the weak side though.

Palutena: Don't underestimate him Pit, if you damage him enough he'll temporarily summon his persona Arsene, a being channeled from the summoner's most inner feelings. With Arsene out, Joker's attack becomes a lot more powerful and dangerous to deal with. So try and take out him quickly or wait out for Arsene to be dismissed.

Pit: So if I can channel my own inner feelings, I can summon my own Persona and double my attack power!?

Viridi: Double the power, double the idiocy. Anyways I wonder if he's looking for any confidants right now, especially a fine Goddess such as myself!

Palutena: Well I see he's already stolen your heart.

Geez that DK stage is busted. I lost a stock to a wall because I thought I wouldn’t fall through it! The barrels are also constantly interfering with my movements and attacks. Not to mention if you accidentally fast fall on the bottom ledge you are DEAD. Harsh stage.

I've seen several great stages, such as a Lucario drawing on all fours with some pink yarn sticking out below with another pink yarn behind him, a stage about a person's Loss, some teenage boy's drawings of the human anatomy wait............

I even play on it on dock mode, and it was lagging! Fitting of a goddess like her. :v

Ough, sorry Moydow , dunno why everything was so chunky. I'm not at home with my Ethernet cable, but my folks have VERY strong internet. Guess it's just not enough. It's been fine until now.

I'll give it a few more matches to see if it de-chunks. If not I'll get out of your hair till I have my adapter back.

Try moving closer to the router. Walls and floors cause a lot of lag.
