He's fun to play as, but nothing that'll set the world on fire since he needs his Persona to use his moves to their full potential.

Sounds like he's very good at edge-guarding/gimping though.

Like, Gun/Gun Special is just ridiculously good for it.

One thing to note about Joker is that he does seem to be a more technical character, so first impressions can potentially be misleading. It's still possible he's a secret high tier.

but then i remembered that my mans threw a goddamn moon


and i realized just the sheer amount of big **** energy that radiates

i feel like joker could potentially be the most hype character in the game with those flashy as hell moves and the whole rebellion gauge mechanic

I was skeptical about that gauge, but it meshes with my play style surprisingly well. Chip damage + midstage kill moves in high percents is how I get my KOs most of the time.

I tried for 2 hours to get Joker last note. Only once, ONCE, did I see a load time pop up. And it was for 13 hours. Then it promptly crashed.

Tried again this morning, got it, but then immediately left for work. Now I have to wait a full work day AGAIN to play him.

Well I just had fun playing Joker, the character seems very technical. The lag on the gun surprised me quite a lot, I expected to be able to change directions quickly.
