Damn, I just remembered something.

The Ultimate Alliance games also have hidden characters that need to be unlocked. If UA3 does this again, I suppose that the hidden characters aren’t shown in the box art to keep them a secret.

Maybe Gwenpool is one of them?

I was always under the impression that any Nintendo Direct this month would specifically be Smash related.

In between the last one and E3, I would probably save most big stuff for E3 at this point. I can’t imagine that they have a ton of new content to announce. My guess is that either before the Persona event or shortly after, Nintendo will announce to “Tune into the upcoming Smash Direct” which will be the day of, or day after the Persona event.

I mean, not only did Sakurai call the last Smash Direct the “last Direct before release”, which made me instantly think that one post-release was confirmed, but then the Joker tease said to “stay tuned for more info on the 3.0 update”.

I’m quite convinced that shortly after the Persona event, a Smash Direct will be held which will talk about Joker, Stage Builder, Home Run contest, other updates (which I assume there will be), and then potentially a teaser for DLC Pack 2. I think that teaser will be similar to either Roy or Ryu. Based on Sakurai comments on the Joker trailer, my guess is it’ll all be gameplay.

At this point I just don’t know if they’ll be waiting for E3 to announce Picks 2 AND 3, especially if the whole concept of Joker being rushed to be #1 is the case. My guess is “Brave” is done, and is just waiting to be revealed at this point.

We have just under 2 weeks MAX to wait. Patience is a virtue, people!

Considering I can have an all Spider-Team in MUA3...I don’t think I can handle anymore new characters not named Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Kamala Khan (Ms.Marvel), Gwenpool, and Squirrel Girl...I want more characters now cause I thirst for Endgame depression curing

I don't see the appeal of characters like Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Black Widow, Punisher, etc in a world with superheroes.

They all just seem bland action hero standing next to people who control weather, gods, alien symbiotes, turn into hulks, etc...

What time is the Atlus event anyway?

I just wonder if it’s before 10am, if the NoA Twitter announces the Direct at that point. I’m not sure if they would have a 3rd party announce the Direct, but I think whoever announces it is irrelevant when you consider the timing.

If Joker is coming “before the end of April” and there are like 6 days left in April after the Persona event, and Directs don’t happen on weekends or Fridays, and the Persona event is on the 24th and 25th, I would assume the Direct would be on the 25th or the following week. But the following week would leave them with... 3 days? That leaves pretty slim options for scheduling, but it is what it is.
