Why would they take a game off of coming soon for a direct. Only think I can thing of is delay

Because the games aren't called "Luigi's Mansion 3" or "Animal Crossing"

They'll have proper subtitles, requiring different brand and would replace their old ones. Essentially so the search results can be swayed better because they want official names for these titles.

It's like how plenty of retailers had Pokemon as Pokemon 2019. Obviously that's not the games names, so they removed it from their systems when the games were officially announced. It would be the same thing here.

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 right now. I just finished what I assume is Chapter 1. You know, I got Pyra, Rex groped her, and then there was some fight scene that actually looked cool, if stupid. Seriously, Jin for the entirety of that scene was like:

I'm not entirely sold on the gameplay, yet. It feels a bit mindless. So far, I just hold Rex in a certain spot, press a button when I have to, and I win eventually. I'm sure it'll get more complicated the further I get along, but I'm confused over whether I'm doing the right thing with combat.

I have a observation about Brave in Smash.

The developers of the game are using the word "Brave" to refer to the character even in Japan.
Different from the Piranha Plant in which they are using the word in Japanese.
Which is interesting because we have two distinct words that refer to "Brave" in Japanese. Yuusha and Yuuki.
Maybe we should see characters and games that use the word "Brave" in English even in Japan, and that might give us hints of who the character is.

Two examples that come to mind are the "Brave Shield" and the song "Brave Heart" that refer to Agumon in Digimon.
And the name of the game "Bravely Default" that refers to the character Agnès.

This is an intriguing point. I'm not sure how much weight it holds, but I can see this as a possibility.

Remind me though, does Joker have a different Japanese name? His codename is Jack, representing both the jacks in card games, and jack frost the atlus mascot.

So his codename isn't really Japanese unless they use the same terms for cards there.

Which means that each codename could be purposefully done in a different way or even language to mess with dataminers maybe.

I don't know though, its a weird scenario either way.
