To be fair, Sky World does represent OG Kid Icarus since it was Pre-Uprising.

Everything else is Post-Uprising though so yeah Kid Icarus has it good.

This talk about series representation is reminding me that Rhythm Heaven is probably the series that most needs to get representation in Smash but it’s been relegated to trophies, spirits, and music for the past 2 games now.

Not to mention the items, Spirits, and Subspace Emissary area/boss. Mother gets a ton of mileage out of Smash compared to other small franchises like it.

Scratch what I said, Mother takes 2nd place, Kid Icarus is by far the best-represented franchise in Smash compared to the series itself. Prominence in Subspace (Skyworld, Palutena only NPC, etc.), Smash Run enemies, trophies, and the entire Palutena's Guidance feature. It's nuts how much presence KI has in Smash after 2 forgotten retro titles and a moderately successful 3DS game.
