I completely believe in Banjo's chances, but I think he'll be Newcomer #3 revealed at E3. We already have rumors circulating about him as well as specific sources attempting to claim him. Some sources, developers primarily, also practically or imply disconfirm characters like Master Chief, Cuphead, and maybe Minecraft. Our bear is coming, just not soon.

Neither would I. I can't say I'm advocating for Goku, but if he ever somehow got in, you wouldn't see me complainin'.

If Goku were to be added then people will begin asking for characters like Batman, Spider-Man and such and giving them more the reason to begin asking for Shrek of all things. I'd rather it stay as video game characters for that reason. What makes Goku so special to begin with?

This is why I'm against his inclusion.

Ah, now see, I wholeheartedly think he'll be #3, you gotta have that "Third Bombshell" like how Ryu was in the middle. The bet I've made amongst everyone on this board, however, is that very specifically, Banjo & Kazooie at E3, no matter what, or the Scott persona and my meme folder will be Thanos'd.

There's also Heihachi @ EVO, but that's a long shot, almost. There are good reasons he can be in, but it's a long shot.

tbh i would rather we somehow manage to inexplicably exhaust literally every single possible option for newcomers through some sort of dark sakurai magic before we get non-vidya characters

I cant find a poster that either has the characters I need. SO I just said "F**k it" and just did the official one.

Also praline praline is Lisa Lisa, and the rest are unknown.

I’m sure we’re super grateful for the speculation that spawned from the clutch datamines, but no matter the length droughts are always super tedious because of the sheer quickness at which we exhaust all discussion points.

Just get it over with already.

Have we ever got an EVO reveal before? I highly doubt an event like that would have an announcement considering is a bit limited audience-wise. Although I could see a Direct announcement around then.

One of the reasons why Heihachi is one of my predictions. That and being its in August it'd honor his voice actor who passed away and having been considered for Sm4sh and being a Mii Costume in it.

I'll bet with you that Banjo is going to be revealed at E3. If Banjo doesn't get in, I'll lose something. Don't know what yet because I don't have a meme folder. Haven't finalized this yet but I'm interested as of now. We'll see how the month plays out and then I'll give you a final answer.
