Never have I ever "clamored" for Scorpion. You're the one who does that here, and every time I rebuke you.

The difference between Kratos and other M-Rated characters is the intensity of the gore in his series. Other character's games have other elements that diminish any gore in them (Bayonetta and Dante have style, Ridley, Simon, and Richter don't have good enough graphics and gore isn't a heavy aspect of their games, and Master Chief and Snake have shoot 'em up stuff where gore is just a byproduct [it can be ignored in Smash Bros.]).

Compare those to this:

Being real Erdrick is the only newcomer I'll make such a serious bet for. Maybe I'll make lesser bets for Banjo, Lloyd/Tales of, or Leon Kennedy/Resident Evil, but definitely nothing as big as "I'll delete my account."

FORTUNE STREET!!!

I seriously like this game!

Sadly it’s also where all my Dragon Quest knowledge comes from.

Fortune Street is fun.

I've actually played four different Fortune Street games.

The Fortune Street on the Wii (the only Localised one)
Fortune Street 2 (the one on the SNES, while it has some DQ locations it wasn't yet the DQ crossover game the series ended up becoming, the characters are generic)
Fortune Street DS (came out right before the Wii one, it has a lot of the same locations and characters but the maps are way different)
Fortune Street Portable (the PSP one, the only one I've played with Final Fantasy characters, has a fan translation, though it's not very good)

From what I've seen, every Fortune Street has a unique selection minigames. FS2 has a Bingo minigame, for instance.

Portable has a minigame called "Chocobo's Forest", where you pick a direction three times (You get [Lvl x 10]G if you pick the wrong direction the first time, [Lvl x 30]G if you pick the wrong direction the second time, and either [Level x 100]G, a Suit Yourself card or [Lvl x 5] Stocks on the third pick. Unlike the other ones, Portable's minigames are locked, you pick one of the minigames before the game starts and that's the only minigame you'll play on that board.

Fortune Street can be a pain when you can't read the Event cards, fortunately it's simple enough to navigate even without understanding what characters are saying.

Isn't the PS4 region free? I might buy the PS4 one at some point.

I would only make a bet this serious over a character I really give a **** about. Erdrick and Banjo apply for me, but Erdrick is the current focus right now.

Well, i’m glad that my essays from earlier were great conversation starters. While I don’t expect what I think to be taken as gospel, it was nice to see it get some discussion going.

Also, DaybreakHorizon , i’m glad that I have evidently sold you on Resident Evil in Smash but I can’t take all the credit. While i’m mostly a newbie to the classic style Resident Evil (after I finish 0, i’ll have played everything but 3, 7, and the Revelations games), staindgrey has proven to be an avid supporter as well.

Overall, I am aware that some of the folks here haven’t played Resident Evil, nor would they care to, and I can’t blame them. For the longest time I wouldn’t touch the horror genre with a 39 1/2 ft pole, but after trying it out, i’ve found that Resident Evil is more than a horror series, it’s a big ol’ puzzle solving series that also requires you to manage your supplies. It’s like a...puzzle-strategy-horror game.

This makes it very unique, but I think it’s understated just how important Resident Evil is to gaming. I’m not sure of the history of horror gaming, but as a series it’s effectively the one that paved the way for games like Outlast, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and several others. It brought horror the gaming and, to my understanding, was groundbreaking at the time of its inception. There’s a reason that a handful of the games can be considered classics...even if the fanbase is split on if some of them are “survival horror”.

That said, if the Resident Evil support we drum up is anything like what happened with the Snake supporters here, I would be incredibly satisfied. Like, even the fact that I made a twitter account for Snake as Smash 4 DLC, and then Sakurai said he was “Back by popular demand”...that brought a tear to my eye.

All you Snake supporters out there... NonSpecificGuy , HylianHeroBigBoss , cmbsfm , and any others, you guys are rad. Still pretty cool to think we made a difference.

Sakurai Dub Voice tries to save Monkey D. Luffy and Bandana Dee from Galeem's attack, but fails and is forced to escape.

Gengar and The Fields of Machu Picch fight for shelter. Gengar defeats The Fields of Machu Picch and he is struck by a beam of light after being thrown out.

Holy **** every one of my characters died to Galeem, and I'm nowhere to be seen, implying that I already died. How could this happen to me?

SneakyLink , did you know that the "Alltrades Abbey" map (the last map in the game) from Fortune Street Wii is actually the "Islands of Japan" map from Fortune Street 2?

Similarly, the "Alefgard" map has been used for years.

Unless a character is deconfirmed by the IP holder or is simply waaaayyy too outside Nintendo (TF2 mercs for example), their odds are 50/50. In short, they’re either in or not in.
