They could work like the Animal Buddies in Kirby Star Allies, where you play mostly as the Thing and you temporarily turn into Reed, Susan or Johnny with their respective special attack.

Sure.

1. For Joker, I want to take from Personas 3, 4 and 5, because Persona 5 isn't the only Persona game. It's hard to choose just ten but I mostly went with the battle themes:
Life Will Change, Last Surprise, Rivers in the Desert, Blooming Villain, Mass Destruction, Master of Tartarus, Battle for Everyone's Souls, Reach out To The Truth, I'll Face Myself, The Almighty

2. Bomberman. I haven't played that many Bomberman games despite him being my most wanted. I have a good idea of what I should include, though:
A remix of the main theme, Green Garden, the multiplayer battle themes from virtually any Bomberman game, seriously, any battle theme, Redial, Foehn, Blue Resort, The Dastardly Bomber boss theme, and Masker

3. Banjo-Kazooie. The music really does not lend itself for good fight music, except for the boss themes. I personally don't think most boss themes are standout tracks, though.
Out of seemingly popular demand for @TotsBS, I'll put the Mr. Patch boss theme. Next, Grunty boss theme, Hag 1 boss theme, Spiral Mountain, Treasure Trove Cove, Gruntilda's Lair, Freezeezy Peak, Glitter Gulch Mine, Jolly Roger's Lagoon, Hailfire Peaks

4. Erdrick. I like Dragon Quest music. I feel the battle themes will be perfect to represent the series so that'll be most of my focus. You'll notice all of these are taking from the orchestra versions. It's because I want the orchestral soundtracks over the MIDI variants.
First the main theme, Dragon Quest 3 Battle themes including the final boss theme, Great Battle in the Vast Sky, War Cry, Battle For Glory, if Alefgard is a stage then the overworld theme for DQ 3, Any overworld theme from DQ 4, overworld theme for DQ 2, Dragon Quest 9 battle and boss theme, DQ 7 final boss theme.

5. Damn. Now I gotta choose between my babies. I'll go with Andy from Advance Wars. Advance Wars actually has a kick ass soundtrack for a strategy game. Every character has their own unique theme for when it's their turn. Choosing ten tracks is no problem. The problem is that I wish I could put more.
Andy's theme, Sami's theme, Jake's theme, Rachel's theme, Sasha's theme, Hawke's theme, Sturm's theme is an absolute must, Koal's theme, Jess's theme, and let's get Days of Ruin in there.
