I hope Nintendo brings over Mother 3 to America one day. I would so buy it and support it, while I already played the game I need to support the game to show Nintendo that I want more stuff from their older IP's.

Plus Mother 3 is such a gem worth playing. I fully suggest playing Mother 3 when anyone gets the chance.

For a Yoshi DLC to be viable, a variety of new collectables and enemies would have to be thrown in (like Flowers, those little star guys, etc.) and the editor would have to accommodate for Yoshi stages since they have a good mix of horizontal and vertical traversal unlike Mario stages, which don't (You could argue that the editor already does this, but there would have to be some shift). Furthermore, mechanics such as Yoshi eating enemies, Baby Mario, and Yoshi Blocks are likely more difficult to program than you think.

You also don't seem to understand that Mario Maker functions so well because it's one fundamental engine that goes through texture changes to alternate between the different styles. To add a Yoshi Maker would be to change that and add another engine, or features over that engine, that don't transfer to the rest of the game. At that point, why not just make a new game? Make a Yoshi Maker with the OG Format, The 3DS Format, and the Wooly World Format and charge full price for it. If you're gonna go through all that effort you might as well.

Okay, but those are literal variable changes. Taking numbers and altering them slightly, changing some 'true' variables to 'false' variables and vice versa, etc.

What you're talking about is the addition of features entirely separate from the game, which is more than that. Why would Nintendo go through the trouble of doing that? Especially for a game called Mario Maker II. Why not just make a separate Yoshi Maker that fully incorporates elements from the franchise? That makes a lot more sense.

I can't tell what this expression is trying to convey. It has this "You're not trying to thwart my plans, are you?" vibe to it, and yet it also feels like he's heard a really unfunny joke and had to break character for a moment just to say, "Really? Come on, even I thought that was in poor taste..."
