Hello there, can I take a moment to talk to the thread about the virtues of cartography and getting beaten to a pulp by ****ing overpowered enemies


Most of the games involve exploring a dungeon inside the Yggdrasil tree. And Yggdrasil is, of course, the name of the World Tree in Norse mythology. So that's where it comes from.

Yep that shakes up the ol' memory there.
Yggdrasil shows up quite often too.

I'd probably enjoy the later games in the series. hopefully i could find them on sale sometime
