In the past I could agree with this, except now the means in which I would acquire a rom of Mother 3 have been left in a smouldering crater.

I still think about you, Emuparadise.
Emu paradise?

Why don't you call it by its given name, Australia?

Need some help guys. My laptop is on, I know because I hear the fan, but the screen isn’t on. Any help guys?
Have you tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds, then turning it back on again?

Of course GameFAQs has a dumb topic like that. I'm not even sure why I'm clicking on i--

--okay that's actually pretty funny.
How about this one?
Final smash: Lie - confuses enemies and makes them attack themselves. After this is done they turn onto Verges team and attack themselves even more

Actually there is still a way to access emuparadise. Just look up emuparadise script. Totally not endorsing piracy btw.

Try the standard turn-off-turn-on thing. If that doesn't work, get a flashlight and hold it straight onto the screen, and see if you can see things around the tip. I had the backlight burn out to an old laptop of mine and an instrument at work, and that's the easiest way to tell. Really means you've gotta send it in to get fixed though.

Still, the VGA or HDMI ports should still work, in case you want to transfer files yourself.

Hmm, interesting. That sounds a lot more fun than a standard New Game+ mode anyway, so I'll undoubtedly be giving that a whirl.

And I assume the Ghost Survivor content is more of a skill-testing survival mode thing, right? At least that's the impression I got from watching the trailer for it.
It is. Don't play them for the story.

I forget if you get it after beating both Leon and Claire or if you get it after beating a 2nd run, but there's a "4th Survivor" mode that's just a race through a heavily infested path of zombies and bosses. It's not a slow paced horror with puzzles, just an arcade-style run with limited weapons and like four times the enemies. The Ghost Survivor content are all new variations of that based on what-if scenarios involving characters who canonically died. But there's no story; just brief 'cutscenes' before and after.

What's unique is each Ghost Survivor campaign has new enemies and ways to get items that the main campaign doesn't. There are poison zombies that explode when killed, paleheads that will constantly regenerate and never actually die, zombies wearing backpacks that hold ammo and items you need to progress, etc. All of them are that arcade style though that you play for the sake of a new challenge.

I doubt it's the legitimate reason.

I'm speaking as an outsider with no information, but this is why I mentioned their inexperience. Saying "you left the Discord" sounds more like a convenient excuse so they don't have to say the real reason. It's possible they jumped the gun and cast you for a role without doing due diligence to find every actor they needed. Then they find someone who fits the role better, you happen to leave the Discord, and then they have an excuse they can blame on you rather than admit they screwed up.

And if this is in fact what happened, they're not going places anyway. That shows an immaturity that will show in the rest of their work. Forget 'em and find someone new.
If I’m honest, I would much rather be denied than be cast and later be fired later. What I honestly think happened is the owner wasn’t bery harsh and just cast me (I was the first person to audition) and then the co-owner found a reason to kick me and then when I rejoined he just said it was “to late” and didn’t let me rejoin. I know he also fired someone the owner cast because he just “didn’t like the voice.”

Every time we talk about movies, I start to question how much time I spend outside, because the amount is pitiful.

I know you'd rather be denied than fired. It's why I'm saying leave them for literally anyone else.

My co-director and I disagree on our cast as well sometimes. But we discuss it internally and make a decision before telling anyone anything. That's how it should be. If he said, "You're hired!" before I even get to hear the voice I'd be understandably upset too. It sounds like they're amateurs who'll crash and burn eventually. Forget 'em and send auditions elsewhere.

By the way guys, pork isn't a thing you should consume. Meat in general should be mostly avoided, but pork is especially bad in many ways. It's full of toxins, because a pig doesn't sweat out it's bodily toxins ever, that's why a adult pig is so much fatter than a piglet. A pig can literally withstand a bite of a poisonous snake and survive because of this, and not many animals without a serious thick skin can do the same. There's a reason most religions say you shouldn't eat it, because it's actually one of the worst possible things to put into your body.

Though to be fair, "didn't like the voice" is kind of important for voice acting. It does look like they removed you prematurely to me. But you do have a good point that they might've jumped the gun too.

Kind of sucks, but maybe you weren't really the best for the role. Still, you shouldn't have been denied a re-entrance to the Discord anyway. They should legit explain the issue. It'd be better if they gave a real explanation. I highly doubt you leaving the Discord had a legitimate effect here. That meas nothing. You could've misclicked. What should've happened is they properly discussed it with you. If in the end they found someone better for the role, that's fair. With voice acting, they want very specific people. The fact they hired you quickly instead of bringing in multiple options to try out is bad practice and on them for being poor with the work.

“The sad truth Miles... is that you can’t always save the day...”-Spider-Ham in Into The Spider-Verse.

Not sure about you, but this sounds to me like “Not everything can be awesome”.
The Lego Movie 2 ripped off Spiderverse, it is confirmed. /s

What's better; experiencing the death of a fictional character (example: Optimus Prime) as your first encounter with death, or a loved one?
Loved one. A fictional character death isn't in the same ballpark as dealing with actual, tangible loss. You can still turn on other Transformers cartoons and have Optimus Prime. You can't turn on reruns of your grandmother

No, it's a great message to give, especially to kids.

Need to experience negative emotions so you can become equipped to deal with them.

Like death.

How is this even a question. At its core, a fictional death ultimately has no impact. A real death, through tragedy, teaches you how to deal with eternally losing something precious to you, and that’s very valuable.
