Slaking only uses Giga Impact which attacks every other turn regardless so it doesn't impact him... (no pun intended)

and Regigigas isn't meant to wreck their team, he's meant to knock off their items & paralyze them. Which he can always survive long enough to do so... If he lives longer than that it's just a bonus. He's just there to screw scarf'd, orb'd pokes, or walls like breloom w/ poison heal or leftovers blissey etc.

There's nothing on your team that can do anything significant to Skarmory. Even your Banded Slaking does a max 63% with fire punch(which can just be roosted off during your truant turn) and with spikes up, since only Skymin on your team resists them, it can just whirlwind/roar away your entire team until you're dead.

You'd be surprised how many times I haven't been beaten by Skarmory (all of them). I also removed Shaymin-s since he's too broken (when skarmorys come out he ususally flinches them to death with 60% air slash.)

Also not to mention, I dropped shaymin-s for zapdos. who quite handily ***** skarmory. that isn't why, but since you're in a skarmory tizzy, figured I'd point it out in case you didn't know what electric was super effective vs. Seems to me you wouldn't based on your uneducated trolling

I take that as an insult you know. I've been playing Pokemon since second grade. If that many years of experience isn't good enough, clearly YOU don't know what you're talking about either.

Pokemon is selecting an attack or switching out, it's not SSBM. Every possible strategy in Pokemon has been found. Some just aren't as good as others and thus, less used. I could care less about your strategy. If you're not worried about Skarmory, watch me tear apart your team on your first post.

THREE of your Pokemon are weak to Fire and Fighting. None of your Pokemon even resist Fire and you pack one resistance and immunity to Fighting. These are both VERY common attack types and a common attack combo used by Infernape, Azelf, Lucario and other Fighting-types with access to elemental punches.

Realize that lots of people like using the move combo involving Fighting and Ghost, this means that 4 of your team's 6 Pokemon are already susceptible to just ONE Pokemon on your opponent's team. Toss in a Pokemon with an Ice or Fire attack, and you might as well throw in the towel. Yeah, sure your team is bulky, but your bulky Pokes will be busy setting up one-sided Calm Minds.

Four out of your six Pokemon are highly susceptible to Roar/Whirlwind. Of those four, only one can actually put a dent in the whirlwinder. If this Whirlwinder is Skarmory, then you are indeed screwed. All you can do is try to paralyze it and pray for hax. Why can't you do anything? Because none of your Pokemon's attacks can ohko it. After it Whirlwinds your threatening Pokemon away, it'll just Roost on the incoming Regigigas, Sceptile, Registeel, whatever. WW Crobat does the same thing as Skarmory, except that it can actually be defeated by Slaking and Skymin.

Slaking is basically begging to be set up on. Steel-types are very common and will switch in on your Truant or Giga Impact turn without fear. Gyarados and Salamence resist all of your attacks barring Giga Impact and will happilly lower your attack with Intimidate and proceed to Dance in your face. 248 Spe Gyara outspeeds your fastest Poke, Shaymin-s after a DD. I'm pretty sure you won't enjoy any of that. Sceptile can at keast survive the incoming Ice Fang, but you don't even have Thunder Punch or Ice Punch to deal with Gyarados and Salamence afterwards. Also, since you're using Giga Impact, you can't even switch out on the turn you loaf around due to Giga Impact's recharge.

Then there's Dusknoir and Regigigas, who can actually take a DD'd attack. Wallbreaker mence will tear Regigigas apart without a doubt. Dusknoir doesn't even have WoW to counter dragons without Ice Punch. While you Rest away your bruises from repeated attacks, you'll just eat more DDs. If you attempt to Toxic, well you only wish that it could kill a Dragon in 3 turns. All you could do is Thunder Wave, sacrifice your Regigigas and let Skymin do all the dirty work.

Let's say Registeel comes in with a free turn to set-up. If on the next turn, Infernape comes in, no matter what move you used to set-up will do no justice. Mixape can deal around 70% average with either Fire Blast or Close Combat to either of your defenses. You can't do anything but switch to Dusknoir now. Otherwise, you risk one of your Grass-types to Fire Blast or one of your Normal-types to Close Combat. Now that Dusknoir is in there, you're not really going to be changing anything. Mixape will NP up and you'll have to rely on Skymin to clean up Dusknoir's mess. Infernape isn't the only Poke that can do this. Wall breakers all pack Fire and Fighting moves, something your team is very, very weak to.

Sceptile's attacks fail to cover Heracross, Breloom, Honchkrow, Skarmory, and the lesser seen Cacturne. The first four are all capable of setting up while forcing you to switch, this is something ALL players should avoid. Getting yourself in a postition like this is just asking for a loss.

Basically, your team has to rely on Skymin to do all the dirty work while the rest of your Pokemon make your force your opponent to underpredict your attacks to beat you. There is no central strategy. No, making your opponent WW your bulky pokes until you pull out Slaking is not a strategy. I can't even imagine what your team would be like without Skymin to pull your team's weight.

Ya you really did.

Ok so... I'm old enough that Pokemon wasn't released until I was in 10th grade. So not only did I start playing it early, I actually could understand the math behind the hexadecimal calculations etc waaaaay before you. So trying to play the experience card = fail.

You complain about weaknesses but you don't pay attention to the fact that you can be weak to something and still win. I played in the gamebattles.com tourney last fall on the pokemon ladder, and I used a team where all 6 of my pokes were weak to fire OR fighting. You know what...? I still went undefeated.

You don't need to have resistance or immunities to types etc. You don't even need to switch a lot as everyone seems to. Switching gets you ***** if your opponent knows what they're doing. Not even going to reply w/ a wall of text. Just leaving it at that.

Yes, I know my dusclops fails for killing a heatran, but due to rest & calm mind I can stall him out of PP which renders him useless. Only way that doesn't happen is if he crits. And then... oh wait, I have Sceptile who can beat him 100% of the time.
