Any priority move always does a speed check it if's faced off vs another priority move. The higher speed pokes move will then go first. Sucker punch since it cannot go 2nd, fails.

true dat . heatran is a wall. i also like scizos>heatran. that is more genius than gyra> electrivire. the person who made these up gets a silver sticker. whoever made up the ratatat named FEAR is a genius. he gets a gold sticker 0.o
Heatran isn't a wall, it's a bulky sweeper. Also, such switches are very predictable and will be countered by experienced players. FEAR fails against ghosts. Smeargle does the job better by being more mindgamey and other obvious reasons.
Sceptile takes Heatran's attacks up the butt, and then OHKOs him with EQ. Heatran won't be much of a problem.
By that, I'm hoping you mean: Sceptile cannot switch into Heatran safely, but can defeat one using Earthquake.

There ARE no hexadecimal calculations in Pokemon. You trying to use big words to sound smart = larger fail.

Complain? This is YOUR team. I'm trying to tell you that it's very bad to have shared weaknesses. As for the tournament, you're just bragging again.

Of course you don't need the resistances or immunities, but you'll perform a lot better if you do. Switching will help you a lot more if your team is actually diversified. Both of your Normal-types are bulky attackers. Both of your Grass-types are fast sweepers. Your Dusknoir and Registeel are both walls.

You're just saying that because you don't like me.
You mean Dusknoir? Yes, PPstalling a Heatran is very, very good. Sceptile won't beat scarftran, nor a sashed one since you don't have entry hazards on this team.

1. Yes there are hexadecimal calculations. Do you even know what that means? All games are programmed with it into them.
2. It "can" be bad to share a weakness. Unless you can use it to your advantage.
3. It won't make you do a lot better. It can make it so you can switch more comfortably. I prefer to create tension on my opponents end.
4. Yes I meant Dusknoir. This was the first time I ever used one since RSE, so I was used to the old name.
5. Sceptile will win 100% of the time. My Sceptile is Sash'd.

Let's look at both scenarios...

Heatran Sash'd
Sceptile Sash'd

Sceptile goes first... EQ, drops him to 1 HP
Heatran goes 2nd... Drops sceptile to 1 HP (Possibly misses)

Sceptile goes first... KO

Scenario 2...

Heatran goes first... Drops sceptile to 1HP (Possibly misses)
Sceptile goes 2nd... EQ, OHKO

6. Why would I not like you? I don't even know you.

A numeral system with a base of 16. Yes, it's used in the programming of games, but to understand how numbers work in Pokemon, all you need to know is algebra.
2. It "can" be bad to share a weakness. Unless you can use it to your advantage.
Name some advantages instead of just telling me that they exist.
3. It won't make you do a lot better. It can make it so you can switch more comfortably. I prefer to create tension on my opponents end.
It makes it so that you have less options to switch to, thus making switching easier but less effective.
4. Yes I meant Dusknoir. This was the first time I ever used one since RSE, so I was used to the old name. It's okay, I was being an ass for pointing out something so unimportant.
5. Sceptile will win 100% of the time. My Sceptile is Sash'd.
I forgot about that, but just so you know, SR is everywhere and you don't have a spinner... not that you need one.
6. Why would I not like you? I don't even know you.
It was sarcasm. You can't tell? It was my only "off" post in our little conversation. This would be so much easier over AIM. It's much easier to understand what people are talking about in real time.

Lol well now you're throwing other factors in. I was simply stating the matchup. If we both lead with that pokemon.

I know Stealth Rock is everywhere. I prefer not to get rid of it since I don't switch very often and seldom use Sash'd pokemon. I think it's fun cause it basically gives me a free turn. Just make sure not to bring any ice/flying or bug/flying or fire/flying types. :-P Unless I have like a Charizard w/ salac berry & substitute dd and plan to spam fire punch like a *****.

When I did use a spinner though I usually used Starmie. More from an intimidation factor people assumed a sweeper but it would just spin.

You can AIM me whenever... UltimaScout. If I'm on phone aim it may take me a few mins longer to respond just cause my phone doesn't alert me when I get a msg.

I don't think you need Mean Look in there. If there was a Pokemon you wanted to trap, it's likely that it will switch out before you could use the move. Another attacking move in addition to Brave Bird would be nice. Unfortunately, Crobat's physical movepool is limited to Dark, Psychic, Flying, Poison, Bug, and Steel-type moves. Astonish isn't a viable competitive move, so Ghost isn't really there and Dark has pretty much the same coverage. Normal is a given. Maybe you could use Screech to soften up a Metagross...? lol XD

Rest and Sleep Talk so you can rid yourself of status... just throwing ideas out there. Curse, Brave Bird, Rest, Sleep Talk doesn't sound all that bad. Only Electric, Rock, and Steel-types resist Flying, and Electrics tend to be weak defensively so you're pretty much set.

On the contrary... Shoddy is gay so it doesn't give Crobat his full available movepool. He can learn Natural Gift which if given a Ganlon Berry to hold, when he throws it, it becomes an Ice move with a power of 80 (physical). Again... shoddy is gay.

1. Yes there are hexadecimal calculations. Do you even know what that means? All games are programmed with it into them.
I guess I'll step in here. I usually try not to read Tim's (Ultimascout) battle logs because they depress me, so I'm a bit late.

2. If you have 1 common weakness, while you will lose to it, you can also maximize your advantages vs everything else. My best team has 4 physical attackers and 2 mixed and it has some issues with Trick Room teams, but has a fantastic rate of success otherwise, as an example.

3. Switching too much is the fastest way to lose that I know of. Let the man play how he wants to play.

4. Don't censor dodge. That's my job.

6. Sarcasm doesn't work on the internet.

I think you guys should play each other, if only to share in my depression.

edit: In other irony, Sum Yun Gai, aka Some Young Guy, is like 27 years old.

I also typed Some Young Gay by accident, probably because of how often I describe **** as gay on smashboards.

Christmas War Story... So this guy called me bad names at the end of this match. LOL I'm so good =)

Edit: He was spamming heatwave vs my blastoise at the end cause we had already fought and my blastoise ****ed his zapdos up last time. He tried a diff approach.

Also... Blastoise was my last poke at the end and I had 2% health left. LOL

LOL

Ty for the support guys.

It's cool, since I created this name appox a week or two ago, even though I'm changing all 6 members of my team constantly (the teams i'm displaying here are the only ones I'm using), my rating on shoddy has slowly been creeping up. I think I'm around 1250 now.

Usually when I log on late at night I have about 4 people who follow me to watch my games cause they say my matches are amazing :bee:

One dude is like, you need to start trying cause you'll be amazing. Lol. People trying to inflate my ego is amazing.

Lol, I do like tentacruel. Odd set but sounds fun. I will try to make that team but um, what does "Shed Shell" do that Forretress wears?

Gyarados and Salamence resist all of your attacks barring Giga Impact and will happilly lower your attack with Intimidate and proceed to Dance in your face.
This is win.

I think shok192 likes to dance.

I don't think Flying-type attacks constitute enough coverage for the use of Power Herb'd Sky Attacks. I hardly see a Flying-type attack used without STAB.

Well I'm only assuming this was in response to Slaking casue that's the only pokemon who should ever have giga impact on them... but the response to that is simple... Even with Intimidate Slaking OHKO's Gyarados & Salamence. GG better hope you're sash'd.

Maybe a random disconnect? I don't think anybody would purposely leave because of that.

I have never randomly disconnected in Shoddy. Typically in my experience if they used a pokemon like Gengar who is an obvious machamp counter, and lost to him... odds are he had nobody in reserve and he's the type of player with like 900 or 1100 rating who quits cause he doesn't know how to play other than counterpicking.

I get disconnected alot T.T

It's how I ended up losing my 1500 :(
One of the 1600 rating people on there watches all my matches lol he's like dude... You really need to start trying and use real strategies so you can hit like 2k. You are so good.

I used to be around 1800ish, but once you get that high it's almost impossible to get points other than beating like 1500+ ranked people, which chances that you face them in ladder are very slim.
