Works for me.

In light of the recent spree of failed crime attempts in the area, I'll be ready to punch any assailants.

that's a good time

um Andy, for the venue fee should it be waived only if there is a tv+cube?

or just waived if there is just a tv

cuz last time I think there were more TV's than cubes surprisingly =_=

Also I can provide masking tape and markers so we can mark all the TV's and stuff

should we rent a megaphone? or should I just yell?

=_=

Thanks for reminding me. I just called to reserve it, and I specifically requested the newer one. I'll take care of picking it up.

That one we had last time was a piece of ****. I had to tape the wires on behind the mouthpiece, and then you had to fiddle around with it each time just to get the connection.

I heard an echo of myself on the phone call. It was pretty weird.

or should I just yell?
Yeah great idea. Been there, done that. It doesn't work well.

illinois street residence, it's close to campus and decent.

i liked the 6 pack too but u have to bring a ton of fans or your room will be unbearably hot in the warmer months. the walk to campus isn't bad unless u need to go to the engineering campus and even then buses go by all the **** time, and although they get a bit crowded in winter it's fine.

i had friends live in far and par and i know i'd probably hate it. only went there to visit people and eat at rib night.

also, hendrick house is across from isr but it's not the best. private housing. wouldve hated it if i didnt get lucky getting fun random roommates. the rest of the people i met there were meh, except the girls next door. food was ok when i was there but the year after it tanked, don't know about now, probably still sucks. they've had recent renovations.

if the university dining halls still do fat don's, it's worth staying in a public dorm just for that.

so.... im assuming any hall is pretty much good? Most of my friends recommended newman hall. But i know nothing about it. All i know is that its all catholic and its in the middle of the campus. What are the prices for all of these anyways? I'm guessing private housing costs more.... not sure what to think O.o

wow i never had anything like that in snyder hall. scott hall was really that bad? although that kinda stuff is a possibility anywhere. my friend took a drunk dump walking down the hall of his apartment once out of nowhere. he's not even the property defacing type, who knew what was going through his head.

i guess it helped me that snyder hall is supposedly the designated "substance free" dorm in the 6 pack. of course, everyone living in the 6 pack is under 21 and supposed to be substance free anyway, so the designation seems to have the benefit of scaring away the biggest *******s while not actually interfering with any underage merrymaking

edit: i think there were 2 circumstances when ribs would be served at the FAR dining hall. the only one i can remember specifically is soul ingredient, which appears to be thursday dinners there, did it once a month or so.

never been in newman hall nor knew anyone who lived there. illini tower is another private housing and that was kinda like living in an apartment building with a dining hall. i remember touring bromley hall as a prospective freshman, thought it was pretty decent, but never saw the place again. allen hall has a huge multipurpose room that can be used for smash, and even rented if you're a resident and in an rso or something like that.

hahahaah yeah scott is ****ing terrible

i lived in garner and that was pretty cool though i must admit

if you wanna go private housing, i would suggest bromley as a freshmen.

and then ppl really like allen so i guess you can go with that lol

someone should live in weston just to avoid awkward moments when random people ask to be swiped in to the stairwell during a smashfest and nobody has access

bromley hall has a pool I know...and good food i believe

there was an enormous explosion today at 4 am during the QUAKE and i am still investigating as to what the culprit is

its either a miracle lightning bolt(unlikely to happen simultaneously with an earthquake) or a transformer blew (more likely), or there was a bomb somewhere

Bromley hall is over priced, the people suck and you are far away from any good food or anything worth while.

Here is why Allen hall is good.

It has two dinning halls, one is an entirely vegetarian dinning hall called Field of Greens. They provide un-****ing-believable food with an awesome selection of everything. The regular dinning hall has been noted as being one of the best on campus several years running.

The resident advisors are always cool and everyone it very relaxed. People don't **** on your bed or run screaming down the hall. It is a pretty self selecting dorm for people that want to actually enjoy a college experience.

The only down side is that there is a small hippy population that you have to get use to seeing, but they are certainly more tolerable than bros that want to kick your *** and throw garbage into your room.

You are close to the ****ing best coffee shop in central illinois (without contest) cafe paradiso. You are near the historic Urbana neighborhoods so it is very quiet. There is also parks near by for relaxing in the nicer months. You are a short bike ride away from downtown urbana which has some awesome restaurants.

I don't know how I could make it more clear why allen hall is the best, I'd love to tell you more. Best year ever.

lol bromley is mainly a jewish community / party

matt I don't know what your talking about but everyone I know that has lived at bromley always complain about how much the food sucks (unless they're jewish, not trying to be racist)

I would suggest Ikenberry, the new six pack hall that is actually really amazing =_= but if not, ISR is probably your best bet. Allen is cool but no a/c is always a downer imho

also I am excited to play on 2morrow, I have not played in such a long time
