I still don't understand the litany of dash attacks at low percentages. why? seems like all they ever do is CC it and nothing happens, or they CC it and you get punished

If spaced correctly it's very hard to punish dash attack, not to mention forcing them to CC from time to time isn't a bad idea as it opens the door for CCed dsmash or grab.

But yea I prolly do it too much...

11 hour work day the day before
+
1 hour of sleep
+
running entire tournament
+
beating Azen and Chillin in doubles
+
more random johns
=
too many dash attacks... XP

I like Tope's use of dash attack actually, but it's kinda hard to space right all the time.

I hate to critique when I don't have any vids of myself, but I never get a chance to record =( Or they get lost or something, it's bull****. Also you're better than me so it feels weird to tell you when I think you're doing stuff wrong. But anyway, here goes.

When you're way above Falco, I think coming down with nair is better than dair. But that's probably style differences more than anything.

You're good at aiming needles when they're off the edge.

Why do you attack with the front of your bair?

He spot dodges a lot, so Lcancel your aerials into downsmash instead of jab or after you jab, downsmash instead of going for the grab. He spot dodges a lot when you're above him too, like half the time he'll just shield and wait, and the other half he'll spotdodge to try and get you to mess up your L cancels or something. I'd probably try NOT fastfalling your aerials and just letting them hit. But then if he shields he can shine out of shield pretty fast, even if you land behind him so I dunno. Just try it to see if it works I guess.

Also don't jump when he dies and he's invincible. Just a minor thing, but I'd rather roll around in a light shield than be above falco.

I'm gonna steal your bthrow > jump > double jump > bair. I usually fall off > double jump > fair, but then they start firefoxing further back and I can't reach and then it becomes too much of a guessing game as to whether I should stay on the edge or go after them and I mess up. But when they up B far away I should just use your tactic.

I don't get what makes you downsmash, other than when he full jumps and you try to catch him when he comes down. lol it seems random to me, I usually use it after angled needles or jab to pressure their shield/hope to catch them spot dodging. Or when I spotdodge and I spam dsmash cuz I panic. Does Eggm know your style or something? Cuz it seems like he shields whenever you dsmash and he spotdodges like crazy when he "knows" he can get away with it.

Sometimes you're right next to him and then you full hop and aerial (usually slap or dair). What's the thinking behind this? Seems like it works. I don't think you did it that much in the 2nd match.

Sometimes you approach with fullhop slap (like a rising slap), I'd rather use nair, seems like they run into it more often.

lol when you die as zelda i'd rather just transform right away and take the hit instead of trying to fight. You got like 60% on you cuz you were zelda.

Pick Brinstar. Or DK64. Battlefield isn't bad enough for space animals.

And this is off topic, but against Fox, would you rather ban Corneria or Green Greens?
