Wait I did not posted here? Well...
Let's fix this!
characters
4 King k rool
I never showed support for him because I don't really know if I'll even care. I'm putting him here because I MIGHT and that's also why there's no 5 because I'm mostly neutral for most of the potential newcomers except the one on this list and maybe kkk just because he seems silly in a funny way for a villain which might be interesting.
3 mr game & watch
The only veteran I care to see back. I found him very originally well made and his artstyle unique. Also because of where his moves were taken I found it was researched. It just seems to be in 2D but his model is in 3D. Amazing!
2 Ridley
I'm going to admit this one day after writing my biggest post on him being favourable: I don't want him THAT MUCH. I "kinda want" him that's different. It's mostly because of the character himself: he just looks intimidating but what feel would you get if you could play as him? That's what I like. Not to mention the possibility of being a grabber I would just love to have the feel that I have my foe in my firm grasp.
If you're curious on why I care so much to talk about him, it's because for such a controversial subject that is probably the most talked, I just love to use logic and talk on it especially if it's something I can talk about. That's why I have a big mouth.
And the most obvious elements on this post...
1 Paper Mario
Ok, I don't care as much as the other about who gets in and who gets out but this is the ONLY character that I want him so much that I'm determined to spread more love on him since I had a significant experience with one game of his series... TTYD.
I can't tell you without doing a full essay on why I found this game to be amazing and reach the point of being a masterpiece. What I can tell you is that this game has a style and charms that correlates almost perfectly to my tastes. No joke the design has a style that suits me perfectly as an example. I became in love with it to the point of doing 6 months of glitch hunt for speedrunning purposes because I wanted that it became more popular since it was too long. There's so much I did in this period and all after, I still love the game; it will never get old.
So, I was attached to the character already but when I found out that his series only got trophies and stickers in brawl...
I was SO upset like it became one of the reasons as to why I understood the hate for SSE because I made a theory that seems to become true that it affected the general repping of the game. The series and even TTYD alone deserved more than this. It's almost insult when I got that.
That's basically how I came here and after a while, became the OP of his support thread. I still have the determination I had so you could consider me as its biggest supporter but I wanted first to advocate...
Are you wondering why my sig has "infinite potential"? It sort of began to be my slogan for his support because not only it's the main reason I want him (not literally but you get that it means) but also because if the irony in belief on him...
Yeah I honestly found that it didn't do justice. A character that could bring so much to smash and even introduce interesting gimmicks is believed to have clone potential. I know uniqueness is subjective but saying that he would be as similar as was toon link to link is just not looking in the character itself. I can tell you that being a clone is the opposite of the character himself. You can clearly get what I mean by playing his games mostly the first 2. What I noticed is that, as a side version of Mario, he has his own identity and that should be more known.
I can bring a few examples of his potentials but it also in his series as well where the potential gets infinite but just the character is already expansive. You have partners acting as summons to do special ability which gives a certain versatility. You also have his mechanics in battle like bouncing multiple time on someone, badges mechanics to modify the effects his attacks like hammer and jump do, alter the customisation feature to give him a point system to set his partner's ability, action command which aren't just mashing buttons, acrobatics called stylish moves as attack and tons of final smash ideas with special moves. All those combined added with the paper mario artstyle and regular attacks he does with hammer and jumps. How's that a clone?
I want to tell you one thing: if you don't like clone, it doesn't mean you don't like side version.
I'm still going to support him as much as now until deconfirmation or release and not there even if he has only some chances.
stages
You won't see a list; there's only one stage idea I really care about.
1 Theater TTYD
I'm happy that it's a popular idea because of how crazy it can turn out in a fight. For a flat and walk off stage, it can become impressive of what you can here. Audience in the foreground throwing stuff which damages or heal, stage hazard like fog or projector falling, background change mechanic that changes the hazards, enemy hazard, audience gimmick where they go away or come which affects the randomness, boss hazard and what I want the most... TTYD DESIGN! I'm just addicted to it but seeing what can happen here is just crazy like in the original game. And we're still talking about a flat walk off stage...
I want this so much...
Music
5 menu 1 SSBM
The tittle doesn't tell it has to be new and I even think it was heard once in the game, there's a special reasons that this music will always be on this list and that will never change.
SSBM is and will be forever my best game of all time. Not because it was actually an awesome game but because of the circumstances in it that lead me to even love games in the first place and live my best gaming and maybe life in general experience.
You honestly should read this if you're interested in true story about players like me it explains this more in details.

It's impossible to change. I learned so much that I had an insane amount of fun and nostalgia with memories engraved in my brain. One of the most unforgivable one is this music. I cannot forget it it's not even thinkable. It's the menu music the music you hear between every classic mode or adventures, the music you hear when you're just excited to play this game, the music you hear when checking the trophies and basically, it's the definition of a menu music.
I had so much memories with this one that I just had to play this instead of the new theme in brawl. I'm looking forward for SSB4 to use it even if the new one sounds great, nothing will beat the nostalgia of hearing menu 1.
4 lower norfair metroid series
I already made my point on how SSE affected badly the general repping but this music was one of those issues. I still don't understand why it was not there in brawl. In fact, it's imo the best music of the series because it really gives the feel of not being safe and dangerous. Not to mention those voices in the background amplifying more the effect of it, it would be great in smash.
3 Earthbound Sanctuary Guardians
This is honestly a weird choice for a fight but for those who read my very long and serious posts before (recently did my biggest one on Ridley), I think you'll know why.
For those who don't know, I sort of had the idea of having a trademark template when I consider the post being longer than usual that treats one subject in the most precise and accurate way possible. If you see this music video at the beginning of any post I made, this means that a long essay is following and that it doesn't have any jokes or sarcasm no just serious and focused on talking seriously about a subject.
"serious" no words could describe this music better than this one. It's a boss music sort of like any gym leader music in the pokemon series (except blac/white 2 which had different one). Most of the boss music of any games I played ended up being the most intense and epic of his ost (TTYD included). That's good but this music is completely different. The music has a very low volume and it just seems to have slow "waves" of sounds while the bgm is really repetitive. That's the opposite of what I see usually; high volume with a very quick rhythm and the bgm does changes a lot. So, why I love it that much?
Because this one does one thing that really REALLY emotionally immerses you. When I played this game, I had the feeling that any future choices and decisions I would take against the boss was decisive and could be the point of a defeat or a victory. The music constantly tries to remind you how you seriously should pay more attention on what you do because there's no joke, it's "serious". It doesn't try to pump you or anything no, but to tell you that this is critical.
No and I mean no other music achieved this feeling of what I've heard. The feel it gives is so powerful that it became the reason I listen to it the whole time I type a serious essay and share it at the beginning of the post. It's to remind me to think carefully and the reader to consider carefully since it can be critical in debates. It's also the same reason I want it so much in smash. Imagine competitive fight when you have to take quick decisions while this is playing. I dream...
I had to choose TTYD one simply because ... well... why not? (no seriously with how amazing this ost was, getting one is a minimum).
2 Shadow Queen final battle TTYD
This one should be obvious but this one just speaks for itself. Great music is good with the game but when they are still great without the game, those are usually the best. It's the most complete boss music I've heard and with how it manages to changes the atmosphere by transitions, it really is for an intense fight. It actually represents how hard this boss was in the original game so just to give you an idea on how it should be in smash.
1 We believe in you Mario! TTYD
I know this isn't really suited for a fight but I don't care. This music is now the only one I can describe by the word "perfection". I even wonder if it needs to remixed. It's honestly the best encouragement music I've heard and I mean no other vgm gave me that much motivation. Being someone who likes to be really persistent, it just fits me so well. It's so... beautiful.
