Here's how I want it to work. You post your tag, your region, and a gif of you styling with Zelda and I'll make a neat archive of all our elegance. The easiest way to post gifs of your stylish self is through https://gfycat.com/ or http://blog.bahraniapps.com/gifcam/. Feel free to post feed back as well, I want things to be organized. I won't post 3.0 Zelda gifs but I will accept Smash 4 and Melee Zelda gifs. The Smash 4/Melee Zelda's are just as dedicated as we are, they deserve the representation.​

They double post when they expect the OP to be updated and get really long, like this one might.

Is there an easy way to make gifs? You may want to include that in the OP.

It depends on what you use to record, gifs can go pretty long. Gfycat is the most user friendly, and it can record up to 15 seconds of footage. Gyfcat gifs can also be slowed down to watch on loop.

Nice work.

On a side note, why do you edgehog by jumping backwards and grabbing the ledge rather than telesnap or running off and grabbing with the ribbon?

I'm not very technical and I have a poor reaction time, so I'd rather do the calm and non-committal hop than a teleport of any sort. I do have a telesnap edgehog in the vids these gifs came from, but I don't often do it. I rarely try to edgehog at all!

That should definitely be the next thing you work on. There's no reason not to utilize a tool available to you, especially when it's your fastest method of getting to the ledge in nearly any situation. Getting to the edge as quickly as possible and edgehogging are things you need to do in order to step up your game. Otherwise you'll end up letting people back onto stage for free way too often (especially ganon and falcon, who almost never die otherwise)

I agree. Unfortunately I don't have a setup to practice with or anyone to practice with, so all I get is tournament matches once a week. Occasionally I get some friendlies while the tournament is happening, but they are never with the great players (since they are still in tournament), and I never need to practice edgehogging. >.< Excuses, I know, but I'll get around to it eventually.

Thread Update 1:
I edited and updated the OP with gfys deemed Herculean enough to warrant a spot with the Triforce of Power. I fail at spoilers apparently and only got one working. Is there a FAQ on spoiler tags? I was so inspired with all of the sheer destruction in this thread that I decided to purchase my own capture card with which I have been recording. I plan on making my tutorial videos for Zelda's specials and advanced techniques soon, and my combo video will be finished before the end of April.The Triforce of Power flows through us, keep up the amazing posts everyone.

Simply continue to make [ spoiler ] [ /spoiler ] tags for every one of the spoilers you wish to create (Without the space, of course).

The spoiler should surround the stuff you want to put inside it, I believe. Not sure how you managed to screw it up that badly lol...

You should also try and be safe and space your entries with the enter key.

OH YEAH THAT REMINDS ME!

Z-Hime will be attending the new Nova Weekly for New York! I plan on challenging him and recording the video. Hopefully I can learn a lot from an established Zelda player.

@ WhiteCrow WhiteCrow Have you switched to the BB code editor to try and remove the extra spoilers? If the spoilers can be fixed then I suggest a new organization. One spoiler includes team combos. Another spoiler included 0-death combos. The other spoiler contains everything else until we think of another type of GIF that deserves separation. Also, I'm sure you can do spoilers within spoilers right?

How do you get the ground to platform telecancels so frequently out of curiosity? Are certain platform heights easier to do it with? I actually saw the vids these gifs are from and have wondered ever since

Lots of practice, I'm trying to learn to be more consistent with them so I can style on people by techchasing vertically with teleports. I should probably get good first, but eh.

The only actually difficult teleports are the ones that go up, you won't pass through a second platform when going down so you can wait on those much longer than the 2-frame window you get going upwards.
