Gheb I feel your understanding of em being TvT on the mod surface of levels, but look at it in context with the players. How can you get a solid read out of that exchange at all? I can see townSoup more so than scumSoup from it but that's as much of an opinion that can really be gained. What do scumThem gain from doing this? Forcing a bad-but-not-quite-scummy feeling from everybody or something idk. I can see where you're coming but I'm just saying that putting absolutes to these situations always sucks.

What's your opinion on BSP?

Aside from that, I don't understand Marshy's vote on BSP. The guys not scummy with what he's doing, it looks more like he's just new and trying to understand the situation. I may have to read the slot again but his approach felt townie to me.

How is discussing this a bad thing? Are you going to just ignore him? Do you doubt that his play will be readable at all this phase? He's not going to die anytime soon.

On a side-note, I don't town-read Jerkus. I don't have enough to town-read him and I think his stances so far isn't enough to make me lean either way. He practically came in here with an arm-chair about the sanctity of mafia and how quick lynching is bad therefore we shouldn't waste our time with pushing Shen further. Then he called the whole thing null. I get where he's coming from but I don't really get how he doesn't have any sort of read here, especially if he was alluding to Luigi's. He seems to favor Shen more than anything.

lol gorf. i dunno. we played some kingmaker game a few months back. i kno he was in another large as well but i wasnt personally in that game. also cmon man dont just **** on my ****list (lol) like that. realize im at a disadvantage by disagreeing with the cleared townie and stances like that (shooting down a reasonable suspicion) allow for scum to hide behind you dawg. if youre not feelin my direction you at least benefit from me slamming against a slot you havent seen much from at the very least

well gorf i explained why i thought his approach was safe (that underlined portion jerkus highlighted earlier) and aligned with how i thought a scumbag would hop onto soup. theres not much more for me to say without beating a dead horse so i really think youd benefit from just letting this play out between me him and the town is all. i dont have an amazing case thats gonna change your mind if youre not already in tune but then again we didnt have one for early dabdab (sup dawg. i kno yu readin this in the green room. lol green rooms are like crowds or studio audiences) in luigis mansion aye?

Skimmed recent stuff, Soup, what about it provoked your gut feel ? I know for me something has to click in to place for my gut to get a feel. Also, if vinyl remains inactive, we can probably leave that to a vig, I don't really want to say much on the slot right now because i always have a very "wait and see" attitude with vinyl, usually because his play airs to the side of anti-town tenancies regardless of him actually rolling scum, and I also think marshy shutting that line of convo down is good (ie i liked him doing it) being vinyl's very easy to latch onto. That being said if his play is scummy (not anti town yet town aligned vinyl) I think it'll be obvious and we can hammer him away then.

I feel like me saying I'm getting the same Luigi town vibes i got when he was close to death in that game is jumping the gun in this case, I'm almost afraid he's playing me to some extent but the purpose of it is something I can't get. #133 is ugly to me:
YOLO gives you credit for throwing yourself out there (I think you got pulled out), and uses that to differentiate you from me.

He claims I "came in and attributed a scum read on Soup for something that is pretty lame and hard to argue against"

Soup put himself out there on a push based off of meta and that's townie points.
I put out an argument and explained my thoughts, but that makes me scummy?

Obviously Soup and I didn't do the exact same thing, but what do you think the intent behind our actions was? YOLO is smarter than this, which is why it's bothering me.

I don't like him for jellin' with Soup right now while wanting me dead at the same time. It's not adding up. Also, the priority switch is fishy. He was down to take you out due to stupidity even though all of the stuff he's accusing me for, that's giving him a scum read apparently, was already out there. Scum lean.

This response feels out of place. I know Vinyl. isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he's played about 10 games now and I don't see the need for him to post this other than for appearance. Wasn't your argument literally just a piggyback of Shen's? You said that you felt my #66 was weird and you didn't understand why I posted it. Okay, so why are you saying that I was reaching for townie points for pushing Rake on meta? I thought I was trying to get townie points because I was looking for an easy way out of RVS? Your logic isn't holding up here.

I think that if Shen isn't scum then I would place my bets on Kant/BSP. BSP/Shen don't seemed aligned to be honest because the need for BSP to put himself in the spotlight with the defense of Shen doesn't seem like a scum partner thing to do.
