nabe was going nowhere. its hard to push when half the playerlist sits on their hands and let it become the laundry/nabe/yolo game which it became for a while. so when i see momentum towards a slot my hydra buddy is down for when the game is stalling no **** ima hop on it

It's the combination of the fact you claimed you switched because of KevMo (that reason to switch votes seems lame). And the fact you're touting you were on Nabe before when I don't remember it I(which makes me think it must not have been a genuine push or I'd remember that stance).

I am fully willing to body Nabe toDay but your **** seems even faker than his. I'm gonna go re-read today's events and evaluate if I agree with what you're saying about your play here.

Nothing but I expected I would remember it for some reason. Idk I guess I expected thunder and lightning on the read for some reason, I guess I'm guilty of the Marshy stereotyping too, but lo and behold I read and it's there if somewhat quiet.

What I mean by awkward with marshy is specifically something he did in the beginning of this phase. Me and Gheb were claiming our dislike of Potato and were voting him and marshy decided to hop on with us too. I was figuring he was ready to pull the HBC but instead he surprised me with his unvote. I think marshy is aware of his own limitations and he knows that there is so much of the #HBC excuse he can pull before people get suspicious of him. I feel like marshy is playing opportunistic right now, pushing slots that are getting the most **** while staying aloof about the ones who aren't much of a concern.

It's possible I'm wrong on this, and marshy is just being marshy, but if I accepted that, then marshy would win every scum game he's ever been in.

this is why i hate trying to read or lynch the slot. People equate a lot of the game to "marshy being marshy " or kevinm being kevinm, when there is good reason to look sideways at the slot

I think ultimately it comes down to the fact that we all knew coming in vinyl would be a total crapshot almost regardless. If BSP hadn't of suicide bombed then we'd have the ability to lynch the useless where they stand could've been better but as it stands we basically just have to live with the evil that we let lay around essentially.

if we're going to lynch him, it has to be now, same goes for nabe. I've thought about it and I don't think Nl'ing as soup suggested solves anything. It just delays the problems we have by another day. One of Wl/Ryu/me is going to die toNight regardless which means one less good townie to do the legwork.

I think being risky pays off more, and maybe this is hubris but even assuming the worst of a nabe or vinyl lynch, there are 9 alive now iirc meaning 7 coming in tomorrow, making a 4 v 3 assuming 3 scum. I have two clears even if i die at night meaning we/town have a 20% chance to lynch scum or lose and I think that's a gamble worth taking.

As opposed to nl'ing and having 8 alive and a 5 v 3, with the questions of nabe / vinyl still sitting pretty for scum to abuse assuming scum isn't within those slots.

I think the key factor in deciding between them is realizing that Nabe has been here but had exactly as much impact as Vinyl has. I feel like we could wave to him and say "hi" and he'd wave back, but say nothing, and we just can't excuse that over Vinyl because Vinyl at least tried to replace and is named Vinyl as shallow as that is.

There's no real right or wrong answer here it's kind of a no win scenario, but if town comes in tomorrow with a vinyl flipped as either alignment we get nothing. We'll have had either 4 town flipped and no connections or 3 town and a scum flipped with still no connections and there's nothing to us that says it's going to be scum over town or vice versa.

With Nabe we at least feel like there's a good chance of scum based on his behavior and we'll have a little bit of interaction to work with, even if it's not much.
