This was just discovered over at FFshrine, Willamns had done a SFX file dump but the sounds are not playable. However...we do have some insight on what the missing songs are.

That's almost...freaking taunting...in a sad way. If Mewtwo and Roy were supposed to come back? Brawl'll still easily be one of the greatest games of all time, but I'm gonna keep an open mind about potential ideas of downloadable characters like Mewtwo and Roy.

Either way, it's just a shame. Mewtwo freaking rules.

Crocomire in Metroid Zero Mission comes to mind. I really hope they're planning DLC or an expansion disc or something.

It's naive to think it wouldn't happen, ripping that is. Oh well, I suppose thats what we GET for daring to know whats on the disc and all the content that was cut.

Whats weird is well never know if theres any sounds or graphics to go with this data until someone can get into a debug or something in Brawl. people were somehow able to lift Crocomires sprites from Zero Mission, and Melee had playable giga bowser and the like in AR (not a lot of cut content in Melee, eh?)

Probably the same thing that gave Ness and Lucas the wrong PSI.

Notice that also, when the game was hacked before, it mentioned those two and playable characters along with Dixie Kong.

Could it be that Dixie was cut very early in development and Roy and Mewtwo were cut but still have fairly completed models in game?

Doubt it. But possible.

And of course, the themes could be just tested, MIDI songs.

Dude, if that song was in, my life would be complete. That's the only song that's not in that I want...along with the MGS(2) main theme, and Smiles and Tears.

Ergh, Ness' AWSOME victory song from Melee and smash 64 CUOLD HAVE RETURNED! What a bloody shame. I like that song more then the new one, and it doesn't quite "fit" with Ness! >_< Eight Melodies from EarthBound...those could have been intresting. WHAT!?!?!? Smiles and Tears? I Love You? TAKEN OUT! ERGH....Sakurai hates us. The Battle Against the Mask Man proves it. Sakurai hates us EarthBound/MOTHER fans. Those songs are awsome, and would have rocked Brawl. If the MOTHER 3

Would it be possible to dig up Roy or Mewtwo's models in some way, shape, or form, or to use it as *prays* DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT (not gonna happen probably, sadly). I wonder, if any of this will be implimented.

But ya, this data better be implimented in the future. If there is downloadable content, even just THE MUSIC, it'd be a nice addition. Ballad of the Wind Fish is up there with my favorite Zelda songs (Hyrule Field from OOT, ALTTP's opening remix in FSA, Hyrule Castle's in ALTTP remix in King Hyrule's end in Wind Waker). If Ballad of the Wind Fish is NEVER IN BRAWL, I'll say stuff! And more stuff! And stuff! Seriously though, I WANTz THAT song in Brawl, badly!
