I made my smashboards account way before I got into the competitive scene, chose a username that could only come out of the mind of a preteen kid, made my signature during the hayday of Brawl+, and keep this ****ty avatar that is literally a reference to nothing.

It's good. People not knowing who I am makes them more critical of my views and opinions.

Only set was of me and my partner Nashun getting bodied by Sethlon/Strong Bad in teams. No singles sets recorded. In fact, no videos of me have been recorded or streamed in the past 2 or so months. There's very little video evidence that I even exist.

I am in the same boat. I go to events and do super well, but I always avoid streams typically...
I guess that can be good sometimes though, because people underestimate you because they have no clue who you are.

Ugh. Making claims like "ZSS's recovery is broken." and "I play way differently than everyone else" and not having anything to show for it is really irritating. x_x

Leffen is a better player than me but I struggle to call him a better zero suit. He does good player stuff and wins, but doesn't seem to have as good an understanding of ZSS as a character. I'd put me and Leffen interchangeable at 2/3, with a slight edge on leffen because he's ****ing leffen.

Oro has pretty much dropped ZSS. It's sad, and I thought I'd never see this day come, but he just really hates the changes. So it's hard to call him best ZSS now. That being said, based off what I've seen at Aftershock, Jason is definitely top-notch and has some really creative ideas in his ZSS play. Take it from me.

But this is why I keep pestering you to come to LTC3, so you can see just how well you stack up against the rest of us. Me and Jason will be there for sure. I'm going to hit up Numerics and see if he's interested as well. Maybe we could do a ZSS Round Robin.

I just don't think he's done or doing anything that's so drastic that it would jump her from low-mid to top 10, and her recovery isn't "broken" if you're a good player who understands her options. Idk, Milkman has one of the best tags imo. I would totally redo my smash life over and pick Milkman as my tag if I could

Jason is the best ZSS overall. I think 1-2 people might be stronger onstage for neutral (this tally includes Oro which may not be valid anymore), but he's definitely the best I have seen for recovery, edgeguarding, and overall combo game.

ZSS has a pretty solid match up vs Lucario, and Lucario isn't broken, people are just ass at DI and spacing vs his jank.

ZSS is lower mid tier.
Mediocre at best.
She is a difficult character to use.
Her recovery is bad.
Beating ipk literally means nothing because Vixen deems it so.
I am garbage player.
Everyone who thinks I am good is also a garbage player.
Vixen is God.

Give me a warning for this blatantly off topic post if you must, but I am getting really annoyed about Vixen shamelessly promoting herself in this thread. If KayB thinks you make the cut, then you make the cut. Good players typically have high enough self esteem that they'll let their results talk for themselves instead of campaigning so hard to get people to believe that they're good.

Sorry Vixen I cant take you seriously. </3 Axe has proven to be the only really dominant solid player in AZ atm. There are a few with really good potential to take names but they have yet to imo (Luv you AZ for realz) . Beating 2nd string AZ doesnt mean much to me and shouldnt mean much to you either unless its a milestone for you....

I too am taking a hiatus, until LTC3 probably. I dunno what I want to do with this game, I think I was too satisfied with how I did at aftershock. That growing sense of complacency has no place competitively, I'll probably let that fade away a bit mentally before I try playing more.

Pretty sure my results DO speak for themselves, but smash is at a point that if you don't live in a community where you have an active stream, or you aren't loud enough, you don't get noticed. There's plenty of high caliber players where people just don't know about 'em. Didn't know I wasn't allowed to hype myself up senpai.
