At least it wasn't Ganon! I was so disappointed when they shoe-horned him into TP haha
I actully miss Ganon because TP was the last game he was in and since then we have gotten PH, ST, and SS which he was in none of. It's been about or over 5 years since we have seen Ganon so I think he should come back and after all he is the main villain.

The complaint about Ganondorf in TP is that it felt as if he was shoehorned in, and people liked Zant and they ruined his character.

Other than that Ganondorf has been a pretty good villain. The only critcism I have of him is that in his boss battles he never seems as difficult or as powerful as his character or the plot suggests. He curses entire villages and kills powerful characters, then you fight him he just shoots small energy balls at you or comes at you with a sword. Just a nitpick though.

I think long, multi-phase boss battles are the way to go for the final boss fight in Action-Adventure games.

The Ganon fight in TP was the best in the series imo (Wind Waker was pretty cool too but a bit boring outside of the gravity of the moment).

I absolutely loved fighting the last boss in Okami as well, that was a great experience.

I found Wind Waker's sailing to be really cool. I'm a person who values the 'atmosphere' of games and exploring a lot. Never felt negative towards sailing, ever.
But that's just me I guess.

I liked the sailing. A lot. It added atmosphere and all of that good jazz. And besides, its not like 3D Zelda overworlds ever had that much in them anyway. If there was no sailing it would be horse riding or running instead.

WW was excellent.

PH and ST were... rather boring, in my opinion. PH was much better than ST though. The thing that brought PH down for me was the repetitiveness at parts.

WW is my favorite Zelda game evar.

I could play it for hours and hours and it never gets boring even after beating it 1000 times. *fanboy squeal*

I think MM controls wonderfully for its time. I'm playing through it now and the one thing I noticed was how smooth the control and responsiveness of the characters was. Deku Link is kinda iffy, but I think everything else controls like gravy for an N64 game

I like WW's sailing in theory, but there really wasn't all that much to its overworld and too many of the squares on the map were pointless and featureless.
