I went to an items tournament last night and had a blast. Used TL the whole time except for two games. The items were on low so it really felt like regular brawl to me. As such I felt like I was playing casual so my TL performance was better. Running on 5 hours of sleep, I was tired, leading up to me getting sloppy and losing a match I should have won, but hey, I got 7th of 14. All things considering, my TL was going great. I even beat our best mario player who usually wrecks me. I left that tournament feeling accomplished.

Only 5 people went to the tournament for Brawl. When they found out it was only 5 people, 3 of them pulled for a refund so they could play Marvel instead and it was only Exc3l z3r0 and I left. We didn't even play, so I just played a bunch of friendlies with my friends.
Looks like my debut is gonna have to wait for another day.
