I just thought i would mention quick that Gannon does NOT use warlock punch to hit the sanbag. He uses volcano kick, his up-tilt. It's much more powerful, and if you hit it from the ait, rather than letting it land first, it goes farther.

No. The warlock punch hits farther than it at higher percentages.

And SSBM_Freack, could you write some strats for me? Thanks, cause my scores are s***. :(

Well, I have read SSkeeto's guide, but the strats are sometimes confusing and I felt completely baffled at some. So I decided to write my own. ^_^ Free country, right?(I live in US ;) )

Major update: 1600+ with everyone! And 3000+ with Yoshi, that makes 6 characters over 3000 feet!

Its just that some strats don't make sense to me. Hey, If you could, try not to steer the discussion towards SSkeeto's HRC guide. Yes, it is pretty really good and I have complete respect towards it. I just wanted to create on of my own. ^_^

Oh lol I was fooling around with Fox in HRC and I waveshined the sandbag to 100 feet. -.-

First I used a shine, wavedashed out of it, used an upsmash, dropped down to the ground and grabbed the bag before it hit the ground. I waited for it to get itself out. The clock, due to a glitch, will continue to count and you can still move even though the bag's on the ground. Now I just waveshined it to 100 feet :p

edit: I just saw that link. Yes you do own. :p
EDIT2: I just saw, you have 25%. you hit yourself with a bob-omb. lol!

Hey, guys, I'm going to do 1 of 2 things. Me and RAvenlord have been thinking of doing a web page of the HRC guide, but we haven't talked much about it yet. If we don't get around 2 it, we'll just put it one another topic located here. ;) BTW, probably about half of the creidit will go to Ravenlord, he's gonna help me with the webpage and he already has helped me a lot with his strats.

EDIT: Yeah I double posted, but I can since its my topic... and I'm cooler than your shoes. :p

WAit, I never said I thought your score was fake! :) Anyway, I can't watch them because my comp doesn't support .avi vids. Hey, I noticed the 13 out of my 25 scores are better than yours, Ycz12! :p

EDIT: Young link strat time! :)

Uber begginer:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Jump up, and throw the bat up.
3: When the bat hits the sandbag, you want to time a down-tilt to that it spikes the bag right after the bat hits.
4: Jump, air catch the bat, and throw it up.
5: See step 3.
6: Repeat step 4-5 once.
7: Pick up the bat, and swing.
Target: 1000+

Easy:
1: GtbDttB
2: Jump, drop the bag, and right after the bat hits the sandbag, use a uair. This is his bat-drop aerial up-air combo. (BDAUAC).
3: Jump, air catch the bat, and use the double jump to get to the other side. On the way down use a BDAUAC. Its actually easier than you might think.
4: The bag should be on the left side of the platform. Now, Pick up the bat and throw it at the bag. Press A again to pick it up.
5: It should bounce off the backwall, and fly towards the plaform. When it reaches the plaform, use a forward tilt(with the bat). It should fly a littlt bit behind you. It must be laying on its side for the next step to work.
6: Go as close as you can to the sandbag, and nudge it forward an inch or two. Now, smash left+A. Yes, bat smash LEFT. You should hear a "smack!" and the bag will soar to....
Target: a little under 1400.

Easy/hard:
1: see steps 1-4 on the easy strat.
2:Okay, so now the bag is flying left. You should be around the middle of the platform. Now, wait a second, and throw the bat up. It is imperative that you wait.
3: Move forward a bit, and when the sandbag comes back, use a foward tilt(without the bat). It should fly a bit behind you, right under the bat that should be coming down about now.
4: When the bat hits the sandbag, time a down tilt to spike it down.
5: Tipper
Target: 1600+

I'm in need for maybe a 1900+ strat.... hint hint Ycz12. ;)

I have a decent one for Y Link...

1. Pull a bomb, throw it at the bag
2. Immediatly throw a boomerang up
3. Jump and Up+A the bag so that it goes right a little (hit left side) and fast fall + l-cancel
4. Pull another bomb and throw it at the bag
5. Jump and Up+A the bag again but hit it in the middle so it only goes a little right, and DI back toward the bat
6. Grab the bat, jump to the right side of the bag, throw the bat at the bag (knocking it off of the back wall)
7. Grab the bat again before it lands, move slightly right while still facing left (a wavedash is usually perfect)
8. Swing LEFT! If you hit the bag with the handle of the bat, you will not hear a ping, and it will go to the right. If done correctly it should go further than a tipper at this low damage.
Target: 1400+ ft.

Y. Link/Link (I could swear I've already posted this):
1. Grab bat, bd AUA on left side
2. bd AUA on right side (59-66%)
3. Smash throw bat left, regrab
4. Lightly throw bat up almost immediately (depending on damage)
5. As you, bat, and bag intersect, d-tilt (should spike)
6. Rejump, bd AFA (Link) or ANA (Y. Link)
7. (aerial) Tipper.

BTW, Tipo, I'm adding your scores to the HRC inter topic on GFaqs just for the sake of it.

I've been keeping a list of GameFAQs's Inters lately (50,000-79,999.9 feet total) and decided to add Sk8nmasta to the list as well as you Tipo. I plan on updating the list every couple of days or so unless the world is destroyed by aliens or something, so you can compare your scores to ours more easily.
My list can be found here.

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! I beat one of Ravenlord's scores! 3000 feet with Ness, also roughly 919 meters!!! Strat:

1: Grab the bat.
2: Short-hop to the bag.
3: Around half-way through the jump, use a PK fire.
4: When you land, throw the bat at the sandbag. The flames should keep it from flying away.
5: [HARD] Pick up the bat and throw it up again. This is INCREDIBLY hard!
6: 5(I'm not sure) single jump BDADACs. It should end up with @ or around 190%.
7: One of two downtilts.
8: At this point it should be at or higher than 197%. Pick up the bat(it should have landed by now), walk forward a bit so your in tipper position, and....
9:TIPPER!!
Target: 3000+ feet as mentioned before. :colorful: :ness:

Common abbreviations:

1: fair, uair, dair, bair, nair.
Means: Forward air, up air, down air, back air, and neutral air.

2: AFA,AUA,ADA,ANA.
Means: aerial forward air, aerial up air, etc.

3: BDC.
Bat drop combo.

4: BDAFAC, BDADAC, etc.
Means: Bat drop aerial forward air combo, Bat drop aerial down air combo.

5: BiH.
Means you had the bat in your hand at the end of the strat, but didn't have time to swing.

6: TH,MH,CH.
Tipper hit, mid hit, close hit; meaning the different areas of the bat you hit with.

7: ATH,AMH,ACH.
Aerial tipper, aerial mid hit, etc. Means you hit the sandbag while it was in the air, resulting in more feet.

Hope that cleared stuff up.

Yoshi:

Uber beginner:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Jump, use an fair, and tilt down on the control stick to fastfall.
3: Repeat step 2 four times.
4: The bag should be in the air. Jump up, and spike it with an fair.
5: Batsmash. It doesn't have to be a tipper.
Target: 1000+

Easy:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Jump, throw the bat up.
3: when you land, press the jump button(x or y is easiest) VERY lightly so Yoshi jumps half his height. This is called a short hop, or SH. Use a dair. The bat should hit while you are doing the dair, and the multiple hits should be able to stop it from moving anywhere.
4: pick up the bat, and repeat steps 2-3.
5: Pick up the bat and walk out a bit so you're in tipper range.
6: Tipper.
Target: 1400+

Easy/hard:
1: GtBttB.
2: Do a SH dair. This can do anywhere from 25% damage to 44%. For this strat, aim to get each one to do around 33-36% damage.
3: Repeat step 2 three times.
4: Tipper.
Target: 1600+

Hard/easy
1: GtBDttB.
2: Do 5 SH dairs, aiming for about 33-36% damage each one.
3:Tipper. If you run out of time, try L-cancelling some of the dairs.
Target: 2000+

Hard:
1:Grab the bat and dash to the bag. Half way through, SH and use a dair. Aim for 40-44%. Yes, it is hard and you must practice is a lot.
2: Do 5 more SH dairs, aiming for 40-44%.
3: Mid hit.
Target: 2900+. If you're really lucky, you might be able to get 3000+ feet.

Hard/very hard:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Jump, drop the bat, and do an fair. Actually, this is the first strat using BDCs with Yoshi.
3: L-cancel, jump, air catch the bat, drop the bat, and use an fair.
4: Repeat.
5: Use 3 SH dairs, aiming for 40-44%.
6: Walk out a bit(you should have time), and...
7: tipper.
Target: 3000+

Very Hard:*created by Ravenlord*
1: GtBDttB.
2: use 8, yes 8, BDAFACs.
3: Tipper.
Target: 3500+ or 3700+ I'm not sure.

Addressing zero 34, Ravenlord, I need you to start working on recording some of my strats. I currently can't reach sk8n masta, you're on your own for now. Sk8n, I'm probably gonna need to talk to you on AIM, my SN's madmailler.

Attn. anyone who has the capabilities of recording and uploading videos!

I am now accepting applications for video recorders. I'm aiming for about 5-6 people. Ravenlord is a definite one. If you help me with the vids, you will get credit for the guide.

Also, as you can see, I have created another topic that will be for me only until I say you can post.

For anyone interesting in recording strats:

Okay, here's the format for the videos: The first 5-10 seconds consists of two screens: a screen telling the recorder of the video, the character, and the amount of feet/meters, and a screen telling the strat. This is good because it gives an element of professionalism. Now, the uber beginnner strats should be as step by step and expanitory. As in, pause at intervals, showing the steps, etc. We don't want ANY n00bs to be left out. Now, you don't have to show the bat flying across the stadium. Just cut straight to where the bag lands. Now, in every one, right after the bat smash, there should be lettering showing whether or not a tipper, a mid hit, or a close hit is needed.

For anyone insteresting in applying for recorder, PM me or ravenlord with a sample video, preferably one of our strats.

I have some easy starts to hit over 1000 usually w/o bat drops. Lemme play HRC to see if I can remember them... I'll post my scores after, just got a 93K total with a 4500 Falcon.

A lot of these starts involve hitting the bag with a no ping hit.

Pikachu- Go to bag and charge an Usmash to 20%. Roll to the other side and do another uncharged Usmash. Then another slightly charged Usmash. Walk to the left, then charge a FSmash, hitting the stronger part. Grab the bat then jump and do a Nair. Then get close to the bag, turn around and swing the opposite way from the bag. Hopefully its a no ping hit and it'll go over 1300 feet.

Falco- This start has to be completed pretty quickly, so do these actions fast. First grab bat, go the the bag and shine. Double jump, do a Bair, then a Dair. Do 3 uncharged Usmashes. ASAP, smash throw the bat towards the back wall, grab bat and swing and hopefully it's a no ping hit. Got 1443 feet with this start, more is possible.

Link- Another down to the last second start, but with practice this start is pretty easy. Grab bat , throw a boomerang. Jump to the other side of the bag and throw another 16% rang hit. Keep on doing this until the bag has 63%. Then throw the bat to the bag towards the backwall, throw a smash rang right and upwards. Either do a Ftilt with the bat or a SH Fair to stop the bag. Then throw the bat to the bag and the bag will hit the rang. Grab bat and smash the thing. I got a close hit at 123%, but you can tipper it, going 1500-1600.

Y Link- I must of had an easier start to go 1600 like 2 years ago but this will do. It's pretty hard and must de done fast. OK must be in *** mode. Grab bat and do a tilt rang doing 16%. Do the same thing as Link with smashed rangs. Then smash throw the bat towards the wall, then quickly grab the bat and do a tilt throw up. Do a dtilt at the right time and it'll stay at the stage. Grab the bat in the air, fastfall and try to tipper it. I got a tipper at 122% going almost 500 meters.

More to come...

I was just giving some no BD starts, since I used them a ton before going to BD's. And why was the abbrevation for Japan blocked off? Here's a few more no BD starts...
Doc- Grab bat, AUA. Then jump, ADA, rejump ADA. Keep on doing this. Then with low time, do one ADA, then tipper.

DK- Grab bat, forward B, 2 bat throws. Then when bag comes out, spike it. Then use forward B again, throw bat at it 3 times, then throw it down once. Spike it, grab bat and tipper it.

Pichu- Grab bat, keep on using thunder until low time. No ping it.

I'll post my scores after I complete a start w/Falcon (ABA, 8 BD's, FP @ 251-253%). Could of have it, but I did another attack instead of his spike. >_<
