Tell me I'm not crazy plz.

I was browsing through JP rock band JAM Project, and I swear their song Victory is a Fire Emblem medley with lyrics.

Am I just hearing things?
I'm not feeling it. :4shulk:

Feels like a Japanese group that has listened to some Within Temptation, Nightwish, or Delain. I looked it up and it's no surprise they do a lot of work for tokusatsu. Getting that "exaggerated fantasy" moment.

So I was bumming around Inkopolis Plaza when I saw this:

And I immediately screenshotted it and said that this is going straight to the R.S.T.
Sometimes I'm actually surprised by just how meme-y Splatoon is.

Honestly, Robin gorls, if you have someone who's that proficient in the game and is VERY OPENLY asking for challenges, go play 'em. No need to feel scared about it, because he has opened to you for a reason: to help you improve. So go ahead and challenge @Raziek. You WILL lose, but you will learn new things, and that's the whole point. :)

I remember having to play Smash with the Gamepad because the GC adapters were completely out of stock; I had preordered the whole bundle before the date of release but Amazon completely ran out, postponing it to December 19th, claiming that they'll get more stock by then. When the 19th arrived, they had completely cancelled my order and gave my money back, I swear I was furious. But yeah, playing with the Gamepad was absolute hell, I couldn't play Smash for as long as 2 hours without my thumbs hurting due to how awkwardly placed the damn buttons were as well as the size of that thing. A month after that though, I bought one of those Mayflash adapters and it is... amazing. I can't seem to play Smash WITHOUT the Gamecube controller, it's simply THE standard controller for me. Playing on the 3DS is a little... "strange" to say the least. :emptysheep:
That's another thing to add to the "in common" list.

Never again will I ever use the game pad for smash when GC controllers are an option.

Fair point.

@Raziek, how are you at teaching non-Robin players? :3
I mean if anything you'll be teaching him some new character MUs, while you learn a bit more on how to deal with Robin. A win-win in that case. Some bad habits might also shed to light after fighting a good player. After fighting good players myself, they pointed out that I press too many buttons, while also making predictable ledge get-up options. I have since then adjusted my playstyle from their advice and (hopefully) I have become a better player in general. It's those little fundamentals that truly differentiate someone between a good player and a GREAT player. :)

I'm no slouch myself.

I would think that @ Wintropy Wintropy @False Sense and a few others can vouch for my skill.~

And who knows, you may get something completely silly that makes the entire session worth it.

Shoutout to reverse Nair second hit gimp after getting blasted back and forth in games beforehand. ;D

I have a room open.~

2/3 stocks?

Customs on.

Could someone remind me what the time limits are for 2/3 stocks, thanks.~

3 stocks sounds good to me, though it's whatever you prefer! Customs are good too, though I have NO idea how to use them, as much as I need to know. :emptysheep:

Also, I believe 2 stocks is 6 minutes, so I assume 3 stocks is 9 minutes? I have no clue. xD

Standard ruleset in Ireland and the UK is 2 stock 6 minutes, no customs, and the world's worst stage list. I don't agree with it myself, but it is what it is.

My brother and I play mock-tourney sets when we're sparring. We turn customs on and off as we see fit, depending on whether either of us actually want to use them.

The 3DS hate hurts me. I like it as a handheld and controller; GameCube is overrated imo.

While I agree our stage list is p meh (mainly because of how small it is), but like, all the other stages are awful for a tournament setting.

in my opinion Delfino Plaza and Castle Siege are fine, Halberd's only problem is the low ceiling, and I've even seen a few places allowing stuff like Wuhu Island and Kongo Jungle (though I'm a bit iffy about the latter myself).

The walkoffs in DP, WI & CS just ruin the stages for me personally, & I can hazard a guess that's one reason on what got them banned over here. Halberd got banned because of both the low ceiling & the hazards & Kongo Jungle because of circle camping IIRC.

There are two certainties in Splatoon:

I don't whether to consider that good at all. SpongeBob hasn't been good in years and Memes are a mistake, they're nothing but trash

I'm pretty sure the only thing most people truly hate about Splatoon is that godawful commercial.
