You know what I'm most curious about?

Designs.

Imagine how our characters would look like.

(Now all we need is some artists...)
*rises from the dead* I hath been summoned.

Oh wow all this character creation seems fun hnng I've been busy lately with developing plans for a nuzlocke comic I plan on doing in a few months z_z and school, as usual. Hopefully things will be less busy now that the basketball season for our school is over and I won't have to attend the games…. Anyways yeah… Drawings. I'm sorta interested, so if people could put up physical description and such or give references I might be able to do something… No guarantees though because I'm reaaallly lazy. :p

You know who I haven't seen for a while, @ Pikachewy99 Pikachewy99 . I really want to see what his character is like.
Ahhh maybe I'll think up of something when I'm in school Probably not gonna be based off me though, because I'm boring. :3
unless I fade back into non existence again (which will most likely happen unless you get a hold of me somewhere else)

omg I want to be a villager HAHAHA

Again...spent way too much time on this. Here's my archer.
Nice. Solid jobs, both of you.

I'll have to sort one out as well now, just because I'd like to see if I can match the technique. Any chance you could point me in the direction of your sprite sources?

I have yet to make my character...
Fix dat. Join us.
*rises from the dead* I hath been summoned.
Godspeed on the Nuzlocke. Also welcome back.

Also also a villager sounds either interesting or horrifying, thus worth a try.
I can only subscribe to so many computer programs. :054:
That's why you carry your GIMP?

[EDIT:] I'm home now, and a bunch of you will probably notice that I've added your NNIDs when you sit down in front of your Wii U next.

At the risk of casting a creepy-wide net I yanked everyone in the last five pages.

Frankly I'm hoping that I'll get bodied by some of you enough to learn what the hell I'm doing. If you'd like to pick out which taunt you really want to use most after obliterating a yellow rat, hit me up and I'll do my best.

I just realized that I'm not here very often, and that makes me sad. ;w;

It's probably due to me not owning Awakening (or a 3DS for that matter) and so I can't contribute to such wonderful bantering and do other stuff that tactician-y tacticians do. >w<;;

On another note, I haven't been able to play Smash all that much due to college stuff and things, and so I fear my Lucina play has degraded a bit, and that makes my already sad heart even sadder. ;w;

On the other hand, I feel that my Robin has actually improved for some reason after decades (a month) without playing. I feel like I'm a lot more careful, but at the same time, am more bold with my approach and attacks, and I'm also being more offensive off-stage. It's kind of strange to me, as I consider her a more complex character, and figured I would have developed so much rust, even a level 1 CPU could completely and utterly wreck me. But alas, it was the opposite, perhaps I'm a tactician at heart after all. Either way, I'm quite happy about that~ ^w^

One more thing in this incessant rambling~ Spiking with Elwind is, perhaps, one of the most satisfying endeavors to pull off. It's one of those actions that figuratively fills my little heart with rainbows and kittens, as I revel in this moment of bliss where my opponent attempts to recover, only to have a brief moment of reflection on their life and their past actions... Unless it's Villager, where his recovery not only manages to save him sometimes, but also serves to spoil and destroy this short, wonderful moment by reminding you that it was all for naught... ;w;

Anyways, that's enough of my words posted on this post for now. :3

Back to lurking~

Yeah sometimes you need a break of something to perform well again. Just like training in the gym, where taking a break gives you new energy, which is very important as you gain strength in the period of time you rest and not when you work which serves more as a practice to keep in form.

Spiking with Elwind is definitely satisfying and I find it to be one of Robin's safer edgeguard options but I find spiking with Dair a lot more satisfying because it is harder to land but it looks a lot cooler. I find myself not using Nair enough offstage despite it being such a great tool to disrupt (average?) recoveries.

Btw, more Awkward Zombie

Alright, I give up, I'll give this a try:

Name: Link
Class: Swordmaster
Subclasses: Archer and Cavalier
Stats: From best to worst: Strength, Skill, Speed, HP, Def, Res, Magic, Luck
Recruitment: Start of the chapter.
Starting Equipment: Steel Sword and Bow

Profile: A strange young man from a very far away land. Speaks extremely little. Although his origins are a mystery, none can deny his near peerless ability with the sword. Despite this, he actually seems relieved to be in the presence of a capable military force, and express contentedness at "not being the only warrior for a change". The most courageous. Born February 21st. (You get a cookie if you know what this date is)

Quotes
A series of grunts and yells, with expressions (such as excited, sad, confused or shocked) depending on the situation.

So tell me how badly I ****ed up...

Edit:
His supports would entail different facial expressions in response to the other person and any one of the three sayings in response:
...
...?
...!
Why isn't link a hero?

Oh, man, you should pick up Ganondorf.
Every single one of Ganondorf's moves is satisfying and fills you with rainbows and kittens. :4dedede:

I see Link as a Bow Knight, myself, because Epona + Master Sword + Hero's Bow
Ergo he should be a mercenary instead of myrrmidon
He gets Hero AND Bow Master.

Speaking of Fire Emblem, Chrom is getting up there in Levels as Lord. What should I send him to for some leet skillz?
As Hong said, Aegis from Paladin is pretty nice, though you might want to get him through Great Lord first for Aether and Rightful King.
Also, I think I said this before:
Chrom + Great Knight Sully = Lucina with Dual Strike+ and Dual Guard+. Having her paired up with an A or S support makes it even more hilariously broken than Pair Up already is. Of course, you'll give up having Gale Force on Lucina, so it's more of a consolation price for taking the best support dialogue over the best gameplay.

Seeing these awesome sprite edits really makes me want to do some myself, especially considering I never knew about some of the "generic" enemy sprites.
Oh well, there goes my free time.

I don't know what you are talking about. What exists between Drakonis and I is strictly professional.

:4robinf:

Ah, speaking of which. @ Drakonis Drakonis , please stop by my pavilion later. It is time for your regular physical inspection. As your comrade, it is pivotal that I ensure you are in proper form, lest you are sent to battle in poor condition. Regulations are regulations.

:4robinf:
Certainly, @ Hong Hong . It is reinsuring that you care for my wellbeing, both on and off the field of battle.
I will wear my tear-away pants to ensure we'll get the procedure over with in an efficient and satisfactory manner.

Hitting with Greninja is the most satisfying thing.

Mainly because holy ****, I hit someone with Greninja.

Jab
Shadow Sneak
Water Shuriken
Down Air

Trust me on this guys, my dad is Greninja

Well the thing is, I'm in ninja school to become Greninja. I've passed my Frokie classes and currently in the Frogadier courses.

Because on the internet, no one knows that you're a frog. Nobody!

What's cooking?

I'm trying to find myself a Pokemon-rep but it keeps bein' bit difficult. Lucario has me mixed because how he plays, Zard apparently seems un but I keep getting a feeling that people find him "noob-friendly", and Gren is bit boring.

I'm quite curious to see this Nuzlocke by you, hope you get it up going! Especially after all the art stuff you've done.

Didn't though think the character creation jazz was actually continued here, huh?

Poor Chrom.
Forever doomed to be the joke of the smash community.
He's actually a nice guy... and his bromance with Robin is really tasteful
Actually, ever since his decomfirmation vid, I feel that even the Fire emblem community started making jokes with him. (Of course, I didn't know that Fire emblem even existed before meeting Robin in SSB4, so that could be only my impression and people already joked around with Chrom before.)
Even if you're not a fan of poking fun at fictional characters, having to feel bad for Chrom for being joked about is bit of a pickle.
FE:A basically revolves around MU, empowering us players while also taking away some of the contributions of the plot away from him and also rendering a lot of the units coming to the story (save Say'ri) inexistent after recruitment. (Compared to Lucina who does all more beyond) And like I once said before, Lucina is IMO one of the factors to some of the game's saving graces (her DLC story) and is generally more popular and perhaps digged deeper in.

Chrom right now has next to nothing to back up on being anything as beloved in a way that isn't humorously sociopathic, unlike Ike, Marth, Lyndis and more. I mean, act like a massive dork DLC-chapters and supports, get curbstomped off the roster by Captain Falcon and then only given loathing through Palutena's Guidance, and well, Chrom's best to be just joked about nowadays. I personally moved on about him because it's difficult to like a character with this sort of a reputation and nothing to back on to it and he's not likely going to appear in anything FE-related again unless in minor things or gathering lords in the series for some reason. :p

Well, he's adorkable sometimes.:sheep:

But yeah, Robin, who's was supposed to be only the army's strategist (and the player character, even if I don't believe that at all. Honestly, IS saying Robin is an avatar feels more like a wasted effort on a lie.) is more badass in the story than Chrom, who becomes pratically only husbando material at some point, and yeah, the Marx guy, for example, from the new FE game seems to be a better Lord, if this speculation is right. I'm not going to say anything for the Samurai guy, yet, though.
I still like him. He's a nice guy and has his moments sometimes.

But hey, at least he got defeated by freaking Captain Falcon:4falcon:and took the leaks down together with him.
The leaks were starting to really annoy me at some point, even if I wasn't one of the people hyped up for the vids.

I feel like my Robin game is falling off a little. Out of curiosity what do you tacticians do to practice? I find that when I play online it is mostly captain falcons anyways. Also, when you play against greninja online the worst thing is when the map is balloon fight or flat zone. You can't see the shadow at all, but then again it is kind of obvious when it is being used because they will either just stand there or slowly walk at you. I really like Chrom's character, some people might see it as a little generic but I think it is alright. He's a clumsy but very caring prince that fights for his people.

I kind of want to try making my own sprite for the character thing, but I've never really worked with photoshop or sprites that much. I need to make some more time to improve my artistic skills.

Completely off topic, but I started replaying Earthbound again and....

Gosh, how I loved these guys

even if I had to waste a completely fine diamond to save them by the second time already It was totally worth it.

Created my character and while I feel like I could touch up on him, I think he's done enough to share.
Cel1.0.png

Also, I finally got around to making some quotes for my character so I'm gonna go upload Cel to the character thread.
Battlefield support:
“Don’t worry.”

“You’re under my protection”

“You can get the first strike”

“I’ll help you out”

“Let’s see that magic happen.”

Dual Attack:
“How about this?”

“Here’s another one”

“Serving up justice”

“Room for one more?”

"Bet you didn't see this coming!"

Dual Guard:
“Not on my watch!”

We’re not losing you.

“Keep your hands off ‘em”

“I’ll save you.”

Enemy Defeated:
“That’ll teach ya”

“And stay down!”

“I’ve got more experience than you.”

“One step closer.”

“I’m gonna protect my friends”

“This is one thing I’m good at.”

“Strong like my Mother wanted”

Support defeated enemy:
“Guess I need to step up.”

“Nice job.”

“Thanks for the help.”

“Can you teach me that?”

“I’ll pay you back”

Level Up:
0-1: Maybe I’m not cut out for this.

2-3: We’re getting somewhere.

4-5: What a surge of power!

6+: Do I have enough strength to protect her though?

0-1 stats capped: Being a solider is what I was meant to do.

So yeah, I've been pretty busy the last hours.

Took me some kind to get a beard working that doesn't look entirely shabby, but I'm still not sure if Robin's face can beard at all. Your thoughts?

I think that beard matches the hairstyle well. Though most likely beards would work better on the build 3 Robin.

If you want the greatest amount of available honesty, the Jona Drakonis on the right looks like a winning entry to a drag king contest. Perhaps if the beard could somehow follow the rest of his jaw-line.

Left one is just dandy, though. :)

Yeah, I tried for like half an hour after everything else was done to add something that didn't literally look like it was drawn on.
This was the best result before I thought "not worth the extra effort". This one at least looks remotely three-dimensional.

Maybe I'll try again... another day...

For now though, beardless it is.

I feel like we should decide on a name for our little army of characters.

What about, "The Judgment Army" (Because you know, Justice/Judgement and their balance scales... okay I'll think of something else)

(Don't know how that would work, let alone work well)

But I personally would pick whatever reflects your character the most. Though if I were to choose one right now, I'd go with the first one.
