My absolute favorites though are
Inigo's everything
And ESPECIALLY "It's Gregor time!"
Sully: "Where should I stab you?"
Gaius: "Like candy from a babe" and "So long, sucker!"
Henry: everything he says.
Tharja: everything she says.
Cherche: "If you don't mind...."
Owain: "BEHOLD!" and "RRRRAAAAUUUUUUGH!"
Noire: everything she says.

A lot of them have pretty good lines but those are my top.

Fixed that for you. Gotta go all the way.
Really, though. This was legal waaaay back in the day. I enjoyed it a fair bit, especially since I played characters who could traverse the floats with such safety. That said, with today's standards for tech skill on Fox, I can understand why it could not last.

Unrelated, but...I know Morgan's a teenager and all, but regardless of gender, the voice makes him/her sound WAY older than they look(14-16). That always bugged me.

And yes, I agree.
Actually, considering the time travel shenanigans I always asumed that Morgan was ~20 years old like Robin and the rest of the cast.
And at least fMorgan never struck me as particularly young looking in her artwork... though I guess mMorgan does look younger.

Also:
"Time to tip the scales!"
"Here's how it's done!"
"Time to even the odds!"
"Anything can change!"
"Not a step closer!"
"Begone!"
And of course, (though not from Awakening)...
"On my mark!" and
"We're not done yet!"

yeah those are from Robin's Final Smash: Pair Up.
Also Pair Up with Chrom is so OP that it is Robin's Final Smash
Yes. But those quotes are from Awakening.

Chrom can say them when he does a Pair Up attack with another unit.

So does anybody else feel that "Time to tip the scales!" is the best thing to ever happen to Robin?

It's really put them on the map and immortalised them in the popular conscience~

He does?
*Checks FE Wiki*
Oh, he does actually say them as Pair Up and Dual Strike quotes respectively. Huh. I must be playing with the sound off and skipping battle scenes too often lately.
I remembered most of the others though... hm. My bad. Still cool quotes.

The "We're not done yet!" line is much more dramatic in Smash though, and it really works.

People are talking about banning Pokémon Stadium because of Fox. :(
S'alright tho, cuz its Melee Fox.

It really helps that the quote lends itself to a more studious context. If Robin bellowed quotes akin to more of a superhero or a hammy vigilante/Owain, it would make zero sense for the guy. Robin's a smart bloke, so he gets an original badass smarts line to go with it.

Call me crazy, but I think the Chrom might be just as known as Robin by association.

It seems their fates are joined...

Plus, Chrom's a mold-breaking character. Dorky and a little awkward, but still a badarse lord who will stop at nothing for the right.

Well, it does help that he appears in Robin's Final smash in such an awesome way.

Anyway, more wallpaper:

I'm running out of ideas, it seems :v I still liked these, though.
If anyone has a opinion or an idea, please say it 8D

As a side note, the more I finish Awakening, the less Robin feels like an Avatar. I have no idea why people call him Avatar sometimes :v The protagonists from the Suikoden series, or even silent protagonists in general, like Crono from Chrono Trigger, for example, feel more "Avatar"-ish than he ever will, imo, since you can actually project your own personality into these characters. "My Unit" makes more sense, but it's still strange. Sometimes I wonder why they even let you customize Robin's appearance, trying to give you a false sense of him being an Avatar, when he obviously has his own personality (and even a big role in the plot!) in the game. Stuff like being able to choose the gender is good, though. (and that reminds me that even M!Robin and F!Robin have sightly different personalities!)
No really, I can't see my own projection into Robin at all, Heck, even OC/Self-inserts Awakening fanfics I've come across keep (mostly default)Robin and add another character that they can relate to. You'd think they'd use Robin as their OC, since he's the player's character.
That's why I just consider him to be Robin:4robinm::4robinf:

If you're looking to project a personality onto a Robin, my suggestion would be to use the StreetPass ones.

They have just enough character in their various designs to suggest appropriate traits, and their silence and irrelevance to the plot allows you to apply whatever you wish to them.

Made a whole team like this once. Went well.

This all stated I agree with your point. As player characters go there's really no way to project onto Robin unless you share just about every personality trait already. He's too well-defined for that role. However as a character he's one of the series' best, so no complaints.

Nah, I actually like Robin (duh.)
It's just that it is odd how people still call him an avatar when, well...he doesn't feel like one, imo.

My edit-fu was not strong enough to prevent this in time.

I must grow stronger.

You must train your fingers more. not that way, ew, you people with a dirty mind
[EDIT]: I feel my reply was in such poor taste that frankly I have to clear it out for my own sanity.

Three lessons to learn here, boys and girls. One, Red has a dirty mind. Two, when sleep deprived, Red needs to double-check his mental filters before posting. Three, nobody likes a braggart.
Maybe I wouldn't have to work so hard on my edit-fu if I worked a bit on my tact-fu.

Those two wallpapers look really cool Elezir! At first I thought that the amnesia stuff at the beginning of awakening was just there so that the avatar was a sort of blank slate, but Robin has a lot of personality. I was really shocked when there was actually a reason for the amnesia and it wasn't (completely) just a way to start a story without giving the background of a character. That being said I still don't like the amnesia trope.

(completely)
Glad I'm not the only one who sees the caveats here.

While not entirely a blank slate, it does serve dual purpose to the narrative as a handwave of sorts and is technically only minimally different from its use in other media. It both allows Robin to slowly remember his martial and tactical prowess - thereby allowing us to have an in-game tutorial - and allows for information to be withheld from the player until The Big Reveal, which is by and large its primary use as a trope everywhere.

It's incredibly cliche in theory, but well done in execution, specifically because Robin hits the ground running instead of falling into the existential angst that plagues most uses of this concept. He doesn't take twenty angst-ridden chapters struggling to remember. He has friends to protect, an army to direct, and asses to kick, and looks forward instead.

Of course this is also very convenient inasmuch as it allows a historical blank slate, except for where it serves the plot. We don't know much of what Robin's life was like between escaping Validar with his mother and the time Grima comes to collect. We don't even really know for sure where he learned what he knows. But again, says plot, pressing matters. Those scales ain't tipping themselves.

I still hate amnesia tropes, but I have to admit, I prefer this approach if it's used.

If I had to imagine Robin playing an instrument, I think the harp would be a better fit...

As has been said several times before, Robin is a bit of a bookworm, thus (s)he is quite learned. Furthermore, (s)he isn't a half bad swordsman, so (s)he is also intelligent, able to master both spell and sword. So the harp seems like a far more elegant instrument for such an accomplished individual.

But the accordion is Robin's signature instrument. :p
