I was wondering why they didn't just put the Fire Emblem characters together but then I remembered the last conquest where that happened, we ended up destroying the Zelda and Pokemon series.

Ah, I remember that week. I was so proud of us after our victory. I myself destroyed my fair share of links and charizards that conquest. They got no sympathy from me.

I don't remember where I saw it, but someone tried to create what Lucina would look like with certain character designs for other possible textures. I know there was Micaiah, Lyn, and a good amount of others and it was really cool. I'm trying to find it now since I remember seeing it on Smashboards, but the problem is trying to go back through the whole FE social to find it.

Forgive me for not responding earlier, but the reason why I changed my username is because I wanted to be consistent with my name across the Internet. In most places, from Steam to Xbox Live, I've always called myself Austarus because that was the name of a character I've made in my epic fantasy story, which I've been working on ever since I was a teenager. Lizardon's a nice name though, as Charizard is my favorite Pokemon in the series, which is why I still feel some regret changing it so suddenly. Thanks for the nice comments about my old username and the avatar, by the way.

I tried leveling my Nino, but she never became a destroyer. I swear, in 10 levels, all I ever got with her was 2 points in magic and tons on stuff like Luck and Skill. Heck, she even got one point in Def!
I think I just had a really bad luck with her.

Eliwood the same. He never got many good stats for him in my playthrough, but was still kind of playable.

Sometimes I really hate the RNG-based stats. In Awakening it wasn't such a big deal, but I learned that in other games of the series it can be extremely annoying, even more because I truly wanted to use some of the characters.

I was doing this mission where I had to enter this castle, steal something and then leave the area. I started the mission and a mysterious hooded character showed up. Sothe went over to investigate and it was Cordelia. Cordelia joined the team as a thief for some reason and I played through the map. I woke up shortly after that though so I didn't get to see much after that.

That's nothing. I once had a dream where I was defending the Enterprise-D with the cast from Golden Sun.
I didn't watch any TNG or play any GS for a few days after that...

Well, I suppose it could be done with one or two Thief/Trickster units.
The objective would be avoiding all or most enemy units, which would be all over the map, making patrols. You'd have to avoid getting in their line of sight or too close to them.
If you got caught by one unit, you'd have to kill that enemy quickly, or it would call for help eventually, giving a mission fail.

We do have one like that: Path of Radiance Chapter 10.

Nice I didn't play Path of Radiance yet, but I'll get there.
Still, it would be nice if this new game had these kind of fun maps. Just "rout the enemy" over and over again can get old quick.

And you're going to need an FAQ with step-by-step instructions if you want to recruit everyone and get all the items without being detected. But my goodness, the BEXP if you do.

It would be cool if they expanded on this. Like, for a stealth chapter, they gave the enemies a visible cone of vision instead of just checking attack range.

IMO fight it out the first time you play. Trying to win with the bonus condition is more meaningful on Hard/Maniac or when you've played the game already. Fighting is FUN.

When I played Baldur's Gate 2 after the Enhanced Edition came out, I had a dream where I was the Bhaalspawn (Main Character). My party consisted of Minsc, Aerie (two characters from that game), Kyle Katarn, Garrus Vakarian and Tiki.
Sadly, the dream wasn't very coherrent and ended quickly. The image of so much awesome was burned into my mind though.

Though the first thing that came to my mind the next morning was "I think I play too much video games."

Though I have to agree that the series don't have anything to do with each other, and I cannot understand how they chose these series for a crossover.

The thought of Grima being felled with rocket launchers, railguns, human slingshots or even simply put to sleep with a tranquilizer in a crossover mission in Peace Walker gets funnier the more I think of it(Monster Hunter beasts are in Peace Walker as optional bosses).

Yeah, generally, I think cross-overs should be either "fit like a glove" or "ah, what the hell".

Hyrule Warriors is a "fit like a glove" crossover. Aside from the puzzle aspect of the series basically just being thrown in there, there's really nothing special going on here; just fan service. And that's fine,

With SMT, the only thing that interests me, from a Fire Emblem standpoint, is the possibility of a modern setting, from a storytelling standpoint. Aside from that, I don't see a lot of benefit from either series for each other. Rather go with something with either more contrast or something more like it. "Fire Emblem Warriors" for instance would be boring, but great fan service for either fan of the opposing series, especially since Fire Emblem is traditionally turn-based.

Minsc + Garrus would destroy any enemy in any game with sheer awesome. Garrus would calibrate Minsc's sword to do Awesome. Too bad ME3 sucked so much...

Actually, I found ME3 to be thoroughly enjoyable. The ending was a lot worse than what the series deserved, but the sheer awesome that the citadel DLC brought kind of made up for it in my mind. And the main game was also pretty damn amazing.
Though it may also help that I headcanoned the ending into something acceptable for me.

Otherwise, the game is probably going to be very bad. Normally promotional games aren't well made.

SMT loves the Modern post apocalyptic setting more than it's normal modern setting, but yeah.
I have a feeling the magical purple gate from FE:A is going to make an appearence there, too, and that makes me sad.

But yeah, a FE fighingt game ala Hyrule Warriors would be probably a better idea. I'd love to see a fight between Robin and Soren <3

A Zelda and FE crossover would...probably make more sense than SMT, at least, yeah.
