I'm more curious about how tomes actually work.
Why do they break? Are you reading spells? If so, why need it with you to use magic? Shouldn't you have it memorized by then? Does the book channel magic? Are the words in the books themselves magical, and every time you cast a spell the words on the page disappear? Then it becomes a normal book? Who writes tomes? How are they generated? Can someone with not magical experience use them? Why does the class system work the way it does? Why can you only wield swords in one class but all three in another? SO MANY QUESTIONS. But in the end, FE is just a game, so I don't worry about these questions. An answer would be interesting though. :4robinm:
I think you're looking for this:

Now I'm annoyed that Robin doesn't set his/her books on fire before throwing them.

That would have been awesome.

Someone else could have shown me that screenshot and I would have know it was Drakonis without having to ask. :4robinf:

That aside, nice character. I admire your tastes, you handsome devil, you. :4robinm:

Ny general recycled character design for RPGs is fair skin, Asian-ish, practical hair (not necessarily short; just suitable for a warrior), and just boring overall. Whenever I try to play something super fancy or exotic I just start to feel uncomfortable. I also generally veer away from vanity and try to look like a simple soldier. If the game lets me make my stuff look like lower level stuff, I'll take it. Generally full plate.

That's just how I do. :4robinf:
NO!:4falcon:

You've had your chance, Weeman. You've had your chance, but still you display only malice. It is time for your purification. :4falcon:

FARUKEN PAUNCH!

OH MY GAWD!!! Hong truly is my sworn protector:happysheep:. THANK YOU!

So wait, where is the situation at again?
Oh Chrom, i wouldn't be surprised if that actually happened. imagine :4robinf: reaction.

One descprition coming right up, courtesy of assassin of shadow and his fanfic Whom She Found https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2614066/13/Whom-She-Found (couldn't copy and paste it, just Ctrl+F and look up magic, you will see it) I would recommend this Fic, it is a very good one.

that would either make throwing them impossible or 100x more effective.
but 100x more awesome, am I right?

Man, being on the receiving end of being styled on just sucks for me. Well, that's my fault for being sub-par at smash, but I guess its ok if you consider it's all in good fun. :]
Getting styled on, but if I ever get styled on by someone playing Falcon then I am okay with it. Falcon is such a stylish character, that he practically exists solely to be flashy. He has some of the most powerful and flashy moves in the game not to mention some really good combo potential. Plus the risk reward he has is too great to pass up. Pulling off knees or Falcon Punches off stage and getting them to hit just feels too good to put into words.

I prefer to think of them as velvet gauntlets, myself.

Why were the first images on Google when finding this picture about women's lace.

Cute? Um, i think you have the wrong thread there friend. That is the Lucina Thread. This thread is more.......... abnormal, to say the least. You're right though, it's still an awesome thread

So I've just spent a good hour, or two playing with a single person in For Glory. What I find really cool is that I got to witness the guy getting better. First bunches of matches I was styling hard on him, taking games off of him like it was nothing. By the time I got around to leaving, he was giving me a good challenge.

Some of the biggest issues he had was rolling, which I easy abused in those first matches. He got out of that habit pretty quickly once I started baiting him by just walking forward to him, then charging an Fsmash in the opposite direction. He also rarely followed up when ever he got some good momentum going with his combos, but eventually he started to bait me out and it was starting to work. I mainly went all Falcon in the beginning, just to see how hard I could style on him which I got some good stuff recorded. Like I said though, he started to give me a good run for my money and I had to switch it up and play for keeps.

I tried doing some calculations, but I think we played about 80 or so matches. I think I only lost about 6 or 7 of them, mainly because I was going too hard in the paint. There were a couple where I legitimately lost due to my negligence.

I just hope that the guy didn't hand the controller over to a buddy of his, or my victories would feel a bit hollow.
But not the ones where I finished up by Falcon Punching him.

TL;DR= Fought a player for so long on For Glory, got to witness first hand his improvement.

This is the best Social for entertainment, yes.

Pure fluff should be looked for in the Lucina social.

That's really neat! I had a similiar experience when playing 2v2s with my friend yesterday, only that we where on the improving end. We played those two guys for like an hour, maybe even two. The first couple of matches, we lost pretty hard, but after that, we quickly realized the tactics they where pulling and started countering them.
By the time we switched to our respective mains (Marth and Robin), we where about even. By the time they left, I believe we won about 60% of the matches total.
Figuring out your foe and starting to tip the scales in your favor feels just amazing!

Or maybe I just make Jona Drakonis look very similiar no matter what game he's in. :4dedede:

There is something to be appreciated with the more realistic low level armor designs. Most endgame stuff tends to be very over-the-top (Warcraft Pauldrons, anyone?). I like myself some armor with a few ornaments strewn about. After all, if I'm the hero, I might as well have a bit of pazazz.
The costume designers for Lord of the Rings had the right idea:

Is it bad of me that I kinda want the anime galaxy-busting Falcon Punch to be the Captain's Final Smash instead of the Blue Falcon?

OR IS HE?

FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON: THE MYSTERY BEHIND ROBIN'S STUPID GLOVES
The true mystery here is: How do they put on the gloves so quickly after the opening cutscene where we can clearly see them NOT having them as Chrom is picking Robin up? I'm fairly certain you can see them on the ingame model right after that.

Best comic is best.

Because well, I find Robin Kirby so darn cute. Also Chrom being such idiot that Robin now has to deal with it.

Falcons are my most annoying matchups I meet in FG for all the above you guys said, BTW.

(I also wanted to say something on the gloves but then got too busy trying to decorate my house in New Leaf- Ah, distractions.

@ Aunt Jemima Aunt Jemima Welcome.

Disregard everyone's suggestions. Stay where you are, and enjoy yourself! This place can indeed be cute from time to time.

Yeah. I generally want to find lower level armour that is still full armour (not just leather hides or something). Usually mid-gameish. Nothing that looks impoverished and under-prepared, but not with flaming dragon heads on my shoulders, either. Unfortunately I don't have any games on this computer or old screenshots to share to convey my idea.

Your other characters are nice, by the way. ^~^

I think everyone who has seen it has wanted it as a Final Smash. I think Sakurai is aware of it when he chose Captain Falcon's debut scene in SSE, but had his own plans for the actual Final Smash.

That scene after Falcon punches that giant Rob always gets me laughing. Those Pikman had already fought a grueling battle, and then they turn out to get killed by friendly fire. Though if they were killed by Falcon of all things then I guess it would be the best way they could go out. I love that pose Falcon ends with, he's just trying to look so cool even though he screwed up the landing.

The sad thing is I honestly can't tell if that's an "original" character or an official one. I'm leaning toward the former.

I saw Robin Kirby for the first time in my game the other day. The way he says Robin's spells makes me melt from the cuteness. R.O.B. Kirby is still my favorite, though. "BEEEEEEEEEP!"

I can't decide what's more adorable: Robin Kirby chanting the Thunder spells, or Shulk Kirby proclaiming the Monado Arts...

Oh who am I kidding, it's Shulk Kirby.

The cutest Kirby is Shulk Kirby hands down. I love his little Monado and how he says "Jump", "Speed", "Shield", "Buster", and "Smash."
I also love how Kirby sounds when he copies Robin and Palutena.

Who the **** is Robin anyway. Batman's little boy? DC Universe forums is -----> that way.

This is the Ness/Sonic OC/Kirby/Shulk/Link thread. If you want to talk about Robin you can take your business elsewhere. :107:

Also Lucina social thread.

Obsessive fan art thread.

I've always found Zelda Kirby cute with him copying Young Zelda's hat. Plus, "HYAAAH" is the best ability to constantly spam as a taunt. :4duckhunt:

I think Bowser Jr. Kirby is the funniest though.

If we're talking just how they look, I love the Lucina Kirby. I wish she got to wear her mask around like that too. It's wasted in a taunt.

Going back to this, it looks like someone just got a surprise Arcthunder.:4robinf:

Also, a bit late but what Robin wears is called a "gauntlet". Of course, people often associate that word with either a harsh trial with many enemies, or armour that covers the hand. In the world of fashion it refers to any number of clothing articles that cover the palm and wrist. Pretty popular with performers and artistic folks, as well as sometimes members of the church. To prevent confusion, sometimes they are referred to as "bridal gauntlets", since that's where you are most likely to find one.

I want Robin and Lucina to have taunts where they can put on their hood and mask for the rest of the match, or take it off when they want to.

Anyways, I decided to Fire Emblem x Kirby, and this was the result.

"Robin, it's the Hero King himself!"

"Lucina, doesn't he look a little odd to you? Wait... is he Dual Wielding?!"

"Wha--WHAT?!" Which one is the true Hero King?!"

I hope I did the spoiler tags right...

Oh noooo, now I'm wondering what would happen if Kirby copied a Sonic OC, or worse, a whole thread dedicated to them.
