I love Awakening's OST and all, but I hope the Wii U version has some tracks from the older games. Particularly the Jugdral saga.

Sadness. It was always a fun comic, but it's nice to see him succeeding in life.

Morgan is the child of Robin. Female if Robin is male, male if Robin is female. No matter who Robin marries, Morgan will ALWAYS exist. Even if Robin's spouse can't produce a child of their own.

People who supported Robin were referred to as "Tacticians", which is Robin's in-game class. Today, the term Tactician is still used around here to refer to members of the community, especially those who actually intend to play the character.

Thus, we as Tacticians are implied to be Robins, and thus because we are Robins, our children are Morgans.

"Morgan" is also sometimes used to refer to someone joined joined this sub-community of ours after Robin's reveal.

I do prefer the harpsichord myself, but there is nothing wrong with our good friend, the organ. Pianos are the real problem.

Hey guys, I just joined Smashboards today and I figured I should actually post here since I've been stalking and rooting for Robin ever since this thread was made, the Avatar was my most wanted newcomer tied with Shulk, and since they're both in I plan to co-main them along with Lucina. I guess this would've been more helpful if I had actually made an account here and posted during his/her reveal, but congratulations evening the odds and tipping the scales with the inclusion of our mighty tactician. I hope to make a great contribution to his/her metagame.

One of those two stages happens to be a returning Brawl stage, and I'll be surprised if any of the songs previously on it don't make it back.

That leaves about 5-7 songs for Colosseum, at least. The Devoted is already in, and if Id ~ Purpose doesn't go 2 for 2 in Smash I'll eat my hat, so that leaves 3-5 songs to toy with. And if Castle Siege was any indication, the songs will all be remixes, which is well and good.

Personally would like to have Girl From The Spirit Forest in the game somewhere. Halberd had an unremixed Amazing Mirror Forest theme on the hardcore Halberd, so it isn't out of the question.

Plus it's been remixed before by IS and Nintendo, so they know how to remix it appropriately anyway.

It's funny how many comics, GIFs, etc. Chrom has spawned for not being playable.
I mean, playable characters usually spawn stuff of there own, naturally, but Chrom's one of the few NPCs in Smash I can think of who's gotten kinda the same treatment.

I can entirely see why it's a big "comeback" on what appeared a mighty and inevitable, but mostly a bland lord on many people but something really saddens me about the guy being glorified as an "ironic failure" in a Smash Bros-game in the fanbase, which tends to usually do the opposite: you know, celebrating characters' history. But I might just be easily salty over people being left out from the "fun" and being even mocked about that because triumph and irony and sheer expectations.

But hey, maybe I feel bad for the guy more than actually like him as a character or choice. Empathy stuff. And maybe the fact that when ya look at Chrom, he doesn't have much redeeming qualities to say he deserves more than what he got at the end (character-wise). *Shrug*

I personally have always liked Chrom a lot, but I'm not annoyed by these memes- they've made me love the guy even more! His shtick in FE:A is being the normal guy amidst all of the chaos, which is pretty hilarious since he's now the poor bystander in this whole Smash relationship.

Personally, I'd thought of myself more akin to some kind of SpotPass DLC character - usable, vaguely irrelevant to the plot, but around regardless. I'm certainly hoping to get some Robin play in, and definitely supporting this community (one of the best I've seen guys, keep up the business), but having another main makes me feel awkward putting on the mantle outright.
I guess technically Morgan is an Outrealms character, though. Eh. Too much thought on too little caffeine.

I've been paying just enough attention to not believe that for a second.

I'm sure they could have made him interesting, but I feel their efforts were better spent as they were. It still feels odd saying that with hindsight, however; I was certain they'd run with Chrom regardless, or we'd only have Lucina instead.

I've always thought Chrom was a bit bland as heroes went, but this is an excellent point. Gives me a new appreciation of the situation here.

Ha ha. @ AustarusIV is a sir, though I'm pretty gender-blind so I don't really treat anyone any differently based on their gender. That said, I know someone like @ LIQUID12A makes a bigger deal of it than others (which is 100% okay; we are all entitled to our values), so I try to be sensitive around him. Never want to make anyone feel unwelcome or anything.

Nah. I love Chrom. I like his look, his personality, his fighting style, and especially his English VA. I find it very difficult to marry anyone else, but I must stay my hand for the greater good, I'm afraid.

Maybe because I view Smash as one-time opportunity to scale your history and love from both the developers and fanbase alike. On Chrom, he gets... mocked for not making it. On top of being told he brings nothing new to the table. And on top of being not most unique Lord or seen as overrated. And he was more of bandwagoned on than rooted on. That's the best he's going to be loved about for and that I can't help seeing as more of a tragedy than comedy. Especially now that I think the guy will be literally history after new FE rolls in.

But I'm personally not hopping on loser characters because I know they'll lose their flavour if anything good happens to them. Ruins their "character" and "purpose", so to speak.

But why I'm salty on 'em, I admit I lived my whole life as similar kind of adorkable loser to not really be laughing on people getting same treatment. Also being left out often from things.

There's my super-cliche backstory for you folks.

I got a great bunch of Robin drawings I found today.

It reminds me of Luigi. He used to be one of my favorite video-game characters of all time until the "nobody cares about weegee" crisis cemented himself into one of the most unforgettable forgettable characters. After that, we got the year of Luigi and meme after meme after meme. He used to be a loser, but a lot of good stuff has happened to the man, so he lost his flavour (my spell-check realizes that I am American). I miss the good old days when the best thing Luigi got was Luigi's Mansion which was neglected for about a decade, perhaps more.

Kinda that stuff, yeah. I actually agree on somewhat missing those moments when seeing Luigi messing up in SSB4-screenshots (Beehives) - though I'd say I can now tolerate that stuff now that I know "he has it all right on other side of the spectrum)

This is why I'm afraid I don't have any sense of humor. Or at least a "healthy" one. If I take so many things perceived in these fandoms so personally, then it's not gonna end well on me much.

Chrom is at his best when he is silly, seen for the first few chapters. I like his interactions with his Shepherds more towards the start of the game. You can also see this same kind of silly, tender sort of Chrom in his supports with is sister. Unfortunately, he becomes so dark and dreary as the adventure goes on.

Of course he would. His eldest sister is dead, he's lost many of comrades, lifelong friends and guardians, the continent is in ruins, and hundreds of thousands have died over the course of the journey. That said, I think the writers should have portrayed him keeping a humourous face around others, and exposing the burden of his minds with people more close to him, such as Robin. I think I would find it kind of touching if Robin was able to see past his silliness and charades.

Well, damn near anyone would become dark with the trauma conga line Chrome goes through. I mean, hell, wouldn't you be surprised if your child came from the future and told you "hey, you died and I was raised without you, I want to see your face for once"? Not to mention the very implications of time travel in our world as opposed to FE.

His silliness and mood change does not save him from being as flat as a pancake of a character for me. Sure, his supports with are hilarious, but that's it.
