Well, Robin has Armsthrift already... I ready to go my Morgan now I have both skills I want for her.
Yay! Armsthrift is fantastic but it's such a hassle to go back and be stuck with a starting role to get it. Then you have to use a Master Seal to get back to a secondary role and then get a Second Seal to get back to where you want to go next. It's just nice to have it on her ASAP.

So I can state the obvious and get tons of likes? Here, let me try...

Subjective. Thesis requires thorough case study and supportive documentation. Provide operational definition of "good" and enough samples of Ness fulfilling the specified behaviour to receive compensatory likes. :4ness:

Walhart is kind of dumb.:4dedede:

If only he had Robin as his Tactician. That would be like a fun-alternate-timeline spin-off for Awakening.

We'll end the tyranny of you, Walmart. In the name of K-Mart, you are currently our Target! We will conquer you!

You have to admit his supports with :4robinf: are kinda sweet. This Sigma lookalike falls for a tactician. That and the mere concept of it is hilarious, at least to me.

It was indeed a nice support conversation.

That's what I'm running right now. A Dread Fighter Morgan with a Mag Asset Mother and Walhart as a father has beastly Str, Mag, Def, and Res. With Sol and Pavise, he's a strong front-line fighter. For added benefit, he has Armsthrift and Helswath for extra staying power.

To this day I never understood the point of having the Valm arc.

It's like the video game equivalent of the Orichalcos arc from the original Yu-gi-oh. Ongoing plot, SUDDENLY INTERVENTION, then back to the original plot with nary a second glance.

They needed a reason to whisk you off to another continent to do stuff.

And they needed a way to ease Lucina into the plot without shoe-horning her in right at the end (or conversely, entirely too soon),

It's more or less adding depth to the story, while adding a sense of dread to the fact that you killed Valadar's greatest enemy.

There is talk that this has been patched (along with Peaches being auto-banned), but I'm getting mixed responses.

Awakening would have been SO MUCH BETTER if it just stuck to one continent, IMO.

Valm arc indeed felt way out of left field. Even when you get to Valm, you hear about this great Walhart here and there, but by the time you actually see him, you run him through like three? chapters later. IMO you should have seen him like first thing when you get there, and you should have to taste the bitter pang of defeat. Writers are supposed to build tension up so that the reader is looking forward to the conclusion. ESPECIALLY when gaming is the medium, with how interactive it is.

At least Gangrel got in your face. Defeating him was your reward.

On the contrary, if they wrote 25 chapters on one continent, they can still formally introduce Lucina on ch 13. They can also write the events in which Lucina has to appear sooner.

Remember that it was literally like some random Risen mook that just magically appeared next to Chrom and attacked him when Lucina appeared. It wasn't really a monumental occasion and it could have happened anywhere.

Because the story didn't have enough conquering. :troll:
Seriously though, I think it was just to make the Awakening world feel bigger, and the story feel more in depth. It didn't really have much of a point.

Actually, i just remembered watching that scene and being all like:
"WERE YOU FOLLOWING THEM ALL THIS TIME?!"
I mean she literally appears out of nowhere.

To be fair, this is what happens when the same people who program the game are writing the story.

Yes and no.

If they did so, they'd have to significantly alter how the Gangrel arc panned out, or flesh out Ferox to much greater degree (which honestly probably would have been preferable).

And I'm talking less about HOW they introduced Lucina and more about the fact that they needed time in between:

This is Chrom.
Chrom does things.
Rising conflict involving Chrom/Robin.
Mysterious Lucina introduced.
LUCINA.
TIME TRAVEL.

rather than:
This is Chrom.
Chrom does things.
LUCINA IMMEDIATELY APPEARS AND OBSOLETES CHROM.

Actually now it makes a lot of sense.
She gained the ability to open time portals at will, allowing her to travel to the present day, acquire the mystic relic known as coffee, and return to see Emmeryn's bungie attempt.

Although she obviously grabbed it in Japan, where everyone of both sexes fanboys/fangirls over her attire :troll:

So my town's Gamestop is holding a midnight release tournament for Smash 3DS. Winner gets a free copy of the game.

Perfect time to break out Robin I suppose. :3

TBH, unless you have pre-release time to learn Robin, I wouldn't play him in a D1 tourney. He's not really a character that brings IMMEDIATE success.
