As everyone is aware, Fates has been released in North America. Some of us here were fortunate enough to get his or her hands on the Special Edition. It came with all three paths, a 3DS XL pouch, and the Fates art book.

I helped Yaki by taking him to a secluded GameStop nearby where he lives and witnessed him go broke as he paid the rest of the Special Edition. While looking through the art book, I noticed two pages that were heavy spoilers to the end of the three paths in Fates. I informed Yaki of this and saved him from spoiling himself.

So please, DON'T LOOK THROUGH THE ART BOOK UNTIL AFTER YOU FINISH THE THREE PATHS OF FATES!

I actually started another Awakening's playthrough some days ago simultaneously to a Sacred Stones one.
FE8 was my first Fire Emblem and I played it only because the Nintendo Ambassador program, without it I don't know if I ever touched the series at all.

So I also ordered the Special Edition, and I am currently waiting for it to be delivered. I don't have an estimated date of arrival (or rather, I totally forgot how to check that), so I'm just sitting here in anticipation for something that may not come until Monday.

The doorbell rang just a few minutes ago and I saw a delivery truck outside my window. I got all excited and ran downstairs expecting to see a nice beautiful cardboard box at my door. Instead I found some packets that had some nose spray that my mom ordered.

It's going to be a long weekend.

Finished my Lunatic playthrough just in time last night! Well-skilled child units are the most broken thing ever, I swear. Also Armsthrift was so mandatory on every unit. nigh-unbreakable Dragonstone+ on Nah? Hell yes!

Just got back from a Japanese restaurant in my area, which had amazing food, and I actually got to step outside of my comfort zone and try some shrimp for the first time and I liked it. Overall it was a great experience for me and I enjoyed it.

I also got Fates while I was out, so far I've been enjoying my classic normal playthrough of Birthright, haven't touched Conquest yet but I'll get to it once I complete Birthright.
