I'm curious.

Why division did you guys pick on Xenobalde X?

I pick PathFinder. The main reason is for the moment, I am kind of bad at battling Indigen and cause am curious to explore as much as Mira. Plus, I've also to be a part time Curator and Reclaim too. Just doing my part to help the human race survive.

Not sure if there's some thread meant for introductions hidden here somewhere but I guess I could say something here.

Anyway, I'm just a guy from Finland who enjoys playing Robin to put it shortly. I've been lurking here for quite a while, mostly reading Zareidriel's and Raziek's guides, so I finally decided to register. I'm fairly new to the Smash scene (been in only a few tournaments, nothing major) despite the fact that I really love the series. Lately I've been pretty motivated to get good so that might be a part of the reason why I registered here. The Finnish scene is pretty small but the competition is tough, especially for a Robin Main, so hopefully I can improve here in some way :]

By the by, was there a thread meant for analyzing matches or something like that here? It would be pretty cool if I could get some critique to some of my recent games.

I'm a permanent Prospector now that I'm BLADE Lv 10. It's ridiculous how far apart they are from the rest of the divisions in rankings and rankings affect division spoils.

It's not a question of nervousness (I am nervous but that isn't something that puts me off going) more concerned with travelling alone and money management. But I am 75% certain that I will be attending the tournament. As I said, I am quite nervous (like getting reked at the first round or something...) but all I can do is practice and hope that all goes well. I'll update on confirmation of me going on here and my progress if I do end up attending.

You should definitely go for it.
Nerves should pass in time, as long as you can just focus on each match as it comes.
Besides, even if you get knocked out early, you're surrounded by good players and you can get a lot of friendlies in.

I've done local tournaments but that's about all, the main thing I do want out of this is experience so that I can improve, this will hopefully be a great way to improve better.

If so, totally go. I cant make this one because of work, but I had a great time last time, I got rekt as well, I had ixis in my pool.

Yeah it is Blastzone. Ixis is a cool guy my mentor who got me into smash is good friends with him, hanged out with him and everything. He could probably introduce me to him properly too lmao :D

I also got in some supports again. It was interesting to hear that both Canas and Pent's wives are very interested in each other (once Pent found out that he was the son of Niime)
It was also interesting learning about some of Jafar's past.

I picked Curator. The division description said I would be one of the first to explore and discover new things. Much better job than what you dirty digging Prospectors have to do. My division benefits most from collecting things in the world and from eveyone's favorite activity: killing Tyrants. With that in mind, I will be hearing this:

On that note, I also did catch sight of our lv 81 nod to the Rotbart from XC. Did not go near it (like hell I would).

You being nervous is normal. I suggest alot of sleep, eat healthy, do some ritual to help calm you down before the event and get there and play alot of people before the event and talk to people dont be scared when doing so. Helps trim down the nerves much as possible and they will never go away you will learn to live with it and fight with it. Hope that helps.

Interceptors. I honestly did not put a huge amount of thought into it since you can do all the other activities the other divisions do. Which I like, cuz I'd hate to be limited in what I can do in a game like this. Figured Interceptors wouldn't be a bad one; there's plenty of **** to shoot out there and you're forced to do a lot of combat anyway, and you'd think that they'd want as many people as they can get for combat duty. I generally like battling anyway. But besides that I'm also a bit into planting probes and reclamation work.

But holy **** why are Prospectors so far ahead of everyone else, that division legit has triple the points of the 2nd place division

Yoite we can always do some matches again sometime if you want. Really that goes for anyone here though.

I went with Interceptors. Generally, I like the battles in X and being able to shoot stuff, so yeah, pretty simple choice there. I do want to branch out into the other divisions eventually, but haven't investigated all the finer details yet.

Because Prospectors gain the most points when mining things. Couple that with the importance of mining in the game and the fact we gain a wooping 150 points every 15 minutes by doing absolutely nothing.

(I've been a Curator before, I gain 150 points every 15 minutes if I constantly look for stuff to pick up, but that's boring and time consuming.)

Well with DialNouns , Yoite , and Milo AKA Papa all going to tournaments fairly soon, I may be going to a tournament in Illinois tournament called Frosty Faustings on the 22nd/23rd.
The problem is, there is no guarantee that I will be able to make it on Friday and singles starts on Friday.
Granted, the tourney starts at 8 and I think I could be there by 8 but there's no guarantee.
But I don't know when I would leave because I live 1hr 30min away from the venue and it's best to arrive early to get some friendlies in.
I also don't have consistent means of travel.
But I could just maybe go and I would like to go to a tournament again and I was interested in it after I found out about it at the tourney I went to before.
