Well, it's safe for everyone to roam the internet. All of the data mining is complete, and NOTHING was in the update. Some Stage name files were leaked at first, but then it turned out that was an error on Nikki's (dataminer on top of everything this time) part. Daddy Sakurai is not letting anything slip for this direct, he's learned from experience it seems.

Hm, i cant think that Zero (as much as id love it), Dante, or anyone from Capcom would get in because of Marvel Versus Capcom. No, you can't count MegaMan because Capcom can't do anything with him now. The only reason MegaMan was allowed into smash was because he's based on his design and abilities from his NES/SNES games, and because Capcom royally screwed up by not letting him be in UMvC3 and canceling MegaMan Legends 3, which made MegaMan's intellectual owner leave the company.

TL;DR for that paragraph: no Zero or Dante because Capcom.

Eevee would be hilarious, and all the skins would be the various eeveelutions. it'd be like alph/olimar but with so many more!

Though i'd have to say it's probably one of the melee veterans because people complained enough, and Nintendo likes re-selling content multiple times.

Dante also has the issue where he uses guns. For whatever reason, your gun can be as realistic as possible, but if it shoots lasers, you're fine, but if it it shoots bullets, then you're out or you have to find a different weapon. Dante can work without Ebony & Ivory, but they're a part of his image and it wouldn't feel right. Vergil would work since he doesn't use guns, but he's not exactly the main character is he? Also, there's Nathan Spencer, the Bionic Commando as another Capcom character alongside Strider Hiryu, but they're not as famous since Capcom never really continued their games which doesn't help when compared to Mega Man, they had much fewer chances to be remembered by different age groups.

So I just came to the horrific realization that 2 pm Pacific equates to 4 pm central. Which is horrific because my final class tomorrow starts at 4 pm and ends at 6 pm. So that's RIP for me, gg mates. Enjoy the feast, I'll swing by later I guess and grab some cold, dead, spoiled leftovers.

It's a feminine form of Kjell, a name of Scandinavian origin meaning "kettle", "cauldron", or "helmet" (given who it is, this is probably why it was chosen).

It's perfectly okay to not be excited for the Smash Direct, but it's NOT okay to get pissed off at the rest of us who are!
